I thought at first you were Jamie McKeown. But yr not, I’d say yr pretty close as a fisherman to his standard. I’ve never caught a kilo Bream myself. Got a 42 off the point at Spit Bridge, but it was skinny and only came in at 850grms!

Insulation stripped about 20/30 mill of it on your trace line so it slides near the hook. Those bream are smashing the oysters on that pier. Little green back crabs , with small splitshot or smallest running sinker to the swivel 300 mm trace line , i use suicide hooks 2/0’. Nice fish mate, where they good fighting or nah? I myself have caught a decent amount of Yellow Belly and Murray Cod but never caught Australian Bass. In fact I didn't even know they existed until now.
