Because it's gold elo? Look at the 8th place in that game, he was playing sugarcraft with 1 item and 1 component, he was saving items for his next game. The 7th place was playing shapeshifter dragon and was contested, he ended up with a nomsy 1. Same thing for the 6th place, not even a shyvanna 2 (she's a beast with power of friendship (dragon 3)). Looking at 5th place augments he tried a high value comp but couldn't stabilize his board into anything decent for late game fast enough so he ended up dieying (almost no synergy in his comp) 4th and 3rd was also shapeshifter dragon (BY THE WAY, 4 people in the lobby was contesting each other, nobody scouts, even in diamond) 2nd place wasn't all that bad, just bad items but a 2nd is a 2nd. And a 1st is a 1st so I'm not just putting everyone down, but there is a lot of thing that could be improved based on this match. Early econ, the streak is important, board strenght during early game (vanguard won't save you HP, it will only delay your death (sure you stack more, but better have more HP than a few more stacks, so you don't have to force your board later on, this game everyone was contesting each other so the lobby overall was weak), buying more **COMBAT** charms later on (there are players that use the excuse of "bad rng" when loosing to someone that has the "Summon a dragon" charm) and scouting overall. I shouldn't go too deep in any of these, I will leave a like and sub to see the progress on your TH-cam Channel journey, so keep going! 🙂
