Yes, we have always planted leaf crops during this phase, how ever depending on the time of year, certain plants grow and do well in winter like spinach, silver-beat, kale, lettuce, broccoli, and many more but not corn, tomatoes, chilli, basil, capsicum they don't like the cold. Any of the plants mentioned in the previous reply except the root crop's, these are best planted during the new moon phases when the moons gravitational energy is directed down. Hope that makes sense.
