It doesn't, at least from my experience. But if the airline you are flying with is strict about the luggage size and has you put the luggage in one of those dimension cage, you wouldn't pass the test since the harness would be sticking out.

Actually nope. I've never conditioned it. It's holding up really well and I've been using it almost everyday. Occasionally I use a damp cloth to wipe down dirt or oil. If you feel like it needs to be conditioned, you should take it into an LV store and they will do it for you for free.

Glad you find it helpful. Which bag are you referring to? LV or Rimowa? I guess it doesn't matter. They both are holding up really well. I have to be a lot more careful with the LV one when wearing it though. The leather doesn't provide a strong structure.

Update* I ended up purchasing the Rimowa crossbody bag (In aluminium and tan leather - same as yours). It's such a handy piece to have and so useful when travelling. It's a great size to accommodate all the items you want to take with you on the go (bank card, AirPods, passport, keys, sanitiser etc.). Thank you very much for your help guiding my purchase - it's a lot to spend, but definitely well-worth the investment and definitely helpful to have some guidance! @@JW-be2ms

Hi there. That's interesting. I haven't had that problem. My hardware hasn't had any scratch. I can do a detail review of this trunk and other ones as well. I also find the Taurillon leather is easy to clean. How do you typically use it?

@@JW-be2ms how to clean the Taurillon leather? Share tips & tick.. My LV Client advisor said can bring to LV store and they will clean with leather balm. But they not recomend because the matte leather will got shiny. I'm confuse now :( i rarely use it & only going to mall . And i very take care use it

@@stefanussutanto I just use damped cloth to wipe out dirt and stain. But if I see a stain, which rarely happens, I do try to wipe it right away so it doesn't stay on too long. You might want to take it in so the store can evaluate and see if they can help clean it One thing I love about LV is they take care of their clients and products.

Only use water You said Taurillion leather is easy to clean. Clean with water only & soft cloth ya? And the stain will clean. Yeah. Just water. No leather cleaner. If you take it to the store though, they can professionally clean it for you. Let me know how it goes!

I recommend it. It's practical and still holding up really well. I would get the leather version as opposed to canvas though.

It is the perfect size for all those items. That's what I use when I travel as well. Hopefully we won't run into each other on the plane or at the airport. That would be awkward with matching phone pouches. Lol.
