Ramadan does the body and mind well!! I really look forward to it each year. I also like what you mentioned about conflicting values and manipulation with children, because I see it too often in my therapy work. Most times the child is feeling that they have to take sides, which causes them to have internal conflict. However as you mentioned, encouraging them to be honest about their views, even if it means they may not always support your actions over the other parent, is always best. I already know your e-book is going to be bomb!

Those workspaces look so beautiful and I'm tempted to travel more as I start working 100% remotely. My friend and I have started doing audio journals with each other on our healing journeys, so I related to the term "recovery bond." 😆It's so beautiful to find healing and growth in sisterhood!

The hair turned out beautifully and now you having me wanting to do a french roll. My esthetician has me using products by Skin Script and they are working very well. I usually do the cleanser, clarifying toner pads, toner, and then moisturizer (in that order). The toner pads will cause your skin to purge when you first use it, but that will go away in a week. I usually order from Art of Skin Care.

Glad you are feeling better! I love when you said that "seeing splinters along the path has protected me." The story of my life lol! Sometimes it's better to take your time and be watchful as you move along the journey. Hope you enjoyed your Ramadan....I participated this year and last year with my Muslim friends and loved the experience. It's definitely a spiritual reset.

When I tell you, I have been feeling a lot of introspection these days, and my dreams have also been very much themed based. I love that you turn to the book of Psalms for peace and confirmation, because I'm really trying to work on maintaining my spiritual peace within storms. I find that relationships tend to mirror to me the things that still need work, and I was reflecting on the idea of unconditional love. It's funny that a person can check all the boxes as far as what we desire, but during those difficult moments, we don't see them as that. For me, a lot of it is due to my own worries or insecurities which then lead me to turn that person into a villain. When in reality, they may be here for my growth and to teach me how to remain true to myself despite the circumstances. So I guess the main thing I'm working on is remaining my authentic, nurturing, and loving self, even when I feel others have wronged me or are not doing the right thing. While at the same time, still speaking up on my needs. I'm loving these moments of reflection from you.

I love that you speak of patience and self evaluation, because on that journey towards growth, there will be moments when you will be pushed outside of your norm. Sometimes the avoidance within us, can lead to missed opportunities to challenge some of our negative beliefs about dating and we never reach the full essence of love in it's unconditional form. I also liked that you focused on the differences in dating for purpose and marriage, which can help resolve a lot of uncertainties when you are approaching it from a group effort. That group project analogy is gold and we have to see partnerships as a learning opportunity. Perhaps, that would reduce the feelings of bitterness, because at the end of the day, you both gained something from the experience.

It saddens me to see you as this. Especially when you're the one who put it into my head about giving my life to God. Which I actually did when he found me. Now I serve the church and study my Bible. None of the rituals you do are in the bible because it's unbiblical and it's witchcraft! Jehovah Jireh provides, but then again the devil blesses his own to keep you distracted. 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons! You're not following God. You've left him behind for your ancestoreal spirits that you follow. Whom are demonic familiar spirits disguised as ancestors. I really hope you come back to him. There always forgiveness given to those who turn from their wicked ways and repent. I've always loved you and I thank you for pointing me towards healing because I found it in God. I pray you find the light and turn back. May God bless you. May he open your eyes to the truth. May you forgive me of my past short comings and faults between our friendship 🙏 and I pray blessings to you and yours. Yahweh is the only way!

Loved the vlog and the gems you dropped throughout! Chicago is a city I have yet to visit, so it's nice to see a glimpse of what it's like. Learning to be mindful is a huge part of the journey, and I think you're right that children understand this so easily. Babies practice mindfulness and understand the importance of rest.
