قبل أن أبدأ في سرد النصائح أود أن أشير إلى أن هناك إختلاف بين كلمة ترويض و كلمة تدريب. فكلمة ترويض هو أن يكون الطائر معتاد على صاحبه و يشعر بالألفة تجاهه حيث يعتبر الطائر صاحبه من بني جنسه و لا يخاف إذا أمسكه. أما كلمة تدريب فهي المرحلة التي تلي الترويض و غالبا مايتم البدء في هذه المرحلة في سن صغيرة لأن الطائر يكون أكثر إستجابة للتدريبات .

ترويض البادجي شيء جميل وممتع ويريده كل هواة تربية طائر البادجي كما ان ترويض طائر البادجي يزيد من قيمته وثمنه لكن الكثير منهم لا يعرف الطريقة ويخشى ضياع الطائر كما ان هناك طريقة ليست جميلة وهي قص جناح طائر البادجي وانا لا افضل هذه الطريقة
