Thank you for pointing this out! It took a bit of time, but I figured out that I missed an expression needed in the shape layer's position when the text is center-aligned. Ah, I see where the confusion is! I already had precomps set up before starting the tutorial, which is why I mentioned opening the first page (my precomp). I had two precomps: one called "First Page" and another called "Second Page." If you have a solid in your main composition, you can right-click it and select "Pre-compose," as mentioned above!
