Ted Belanger Silly Singing in 1982
มุมมอง 1714 วันที่ผ่านมา
Ted Belanger records himself singing with a silly falsetto a lyric from the World War I soldier's song "Mademoiselle From Armentieres." The lyric should be: "O Mademoiselle from gay Paree, parlez-vous, O Mademoiselle from gay Paree, parlez-vous, O Mademoiselle from gay Paree, you certainly did play hell with me. Hinky-dinky-parlay-voo." Recorded in November 1982, Teddy died a month later.
Winning Too Low For Zero Album on 92 PRO-FM
มุมมอง 4614 วันที่ผ่านมา
I was caller number 7 to the radio station to win Elton John's newest album, Too Low For Zero, in 1983. I remember I was also caller number 4, so there was not a lot of competition. My mother had to drive me to Providence to pick up the album that I won. Because I was 9 years old, I remember that officially they had to say that my mother won it. It wasn't a particularly good album to me, I was ...

I was here. A majority of the troops began leaving because we had waited for a while to get in. Jessie should have been slotted in first for the show before Trump went on.

Holy nostalgia overload! I was in Troop 2 Phenix back then. I always loved Yawgoog and this video brought back a lot of great memories. Thanks for posting this even if it was 12 years ago.
Ahh, Troop 2 Phenix. I was OA chapter chief in 1990-1992 and the adult adviser Ron Heroux was from there. Sad to think there is only one troop now that is left to cover all of West Warwick.
Good old Ron. He was my older brother's scout master. Mine was Al Lemoi (not sure if that's the correct spelling). My father, Bill Sousa was assistant scout master.
My troop used to sing this but we would say "eighteen hundred and fourty four thats the years I F***d a whore, thats the year I f***d a whore a working on the railroad.

Emory Roberts was in charge of the Secret Service Detail riding behind JFK that fateful day. He save the day. Nobody even knows about it let alone talk about it. Dealey Plaze - The End of Camelot. This stops all the conspiracy theories.

Edouard and Fedelie Lemoi were siblings of Sr. Diane's mother Rose Delima, who is buried at Notre Dame in West Warwick.
Turns out that Francois J.B. Chatelle (1868-1940) was very distantly related. My fourth cousin, four times removed. Just ironically also ended up in the Pawtuxet Valley. Neat find though.
You should challenge SME's claim on this video. It's against the law for them to claim anything public domain. You'll win easily.

Great video man !!!
I'm not sure if he would be happy or sad about modern America... I would guess sad but these days you never know
Very disappointed that you inserted the word Christian, which does not appear in original text. It is therefore not "edited for time," but edited for your own purposes, and does distort the original purpose (to bring ppl together, not divide into groups).
Who is "you"? This is only a video. Unless you can find whomever the actor was in this video, you're sort of talking to a wall.
bring AMERICAN people together, who were mostly christian. washington was a christian so it doesn’t really subtract much from the message
When all Americans where one. One nation of strength and honor. The further we’ve drifted from our great generation the weaker our new generations have become.
Not exactly, at that point of time Brown v Board of Education hadn’t happened, Roe v Wade didn’t happen, LGBTQ rights didn’t exist, and there was immense anti-semitism
not bad

A conversational style, geared for the people immediately around him, not spoken as if the entire country was going to hear it. That's probably what it sounded like at the time, without Copeland's music to amplify it. They say it wasn't greeted with thunderous applause, just silence as shown here. The speech would have been printed in every newspaper in the country and the power of the words came through better than even Lincoln could have said it. I have always preferred the "OF the people, BY the people and FOR the people" delivery better because if you don't say it that way, it just sounds like "people...people...people" and doesn't tell us what you are saying about the people.
I like the edit
