I had this idea in my mind since I made the ghost earrings (video #35). Then I had several attempts to make the ghost. I made one too round and too big for a ghost and I didn't cut it apart, because I knew that with a little work it could be made into a hot air balloon. So, here it is!
In order to successfully make the balloon and the basket you'll need to know peyote beading and herringbone beading as well.
Materials needed for the Hot Air Balloon earrings:
2 pcs of 10 mm round beads
2 pcs of 6 mm fire polished beads
24 pcs of 11/0 seed beads
15/0 seed beads in 2 colors
Headpins, thin jump rings, earring hooks
Size 10 or 12 beading needles
Nylon beading thread or Fireline
Additionally, you'll require scissors.
