Updates from the Audio Developer Conference, ADC24
In this episode, we share updates from the Audio Developer Conference, ADC, 24.
Community member Trahern Culver reported live from the event, and later in this podcast, you will hear the interviews he captured with heritage audio company SSL, musician Andre Louis, and software instrument company Spitfire Audio. Trey used a Zoom H4 essential recorder, with its built in accessibility voice guidance, to capture these.
But first, Guillem Leon shares his thoughts about ADC24’s Inclusive Design within Audio Products workshop, which I was honoured to chair.

When will it be possible to input notes not just with sdf/jkl but with my focus 40?
I have one question: Can you write a piano song in braille music notation and then export it into a music.xml format, that people who read visual music notation can read my piano song? Thank you
Hi there, not in SMB, but you can input simple braille music in MuseScore Studio, which will show up as stave notation to sighted users. Check out the braille input section of our MuseScore Studio demo video.
Bardzo potrzebne. Zróbcie całą playlistę obsługi bez wzroku dla MuseScore bo materiały są porozrzucane..
This is great, thanks so much! I did a lot with Sibelius back in the day and am really glad we have a more accessible option nowadays.
P. S. It was great to hear about ForScore. Up to now, I just assumed it wouldn't work for me because I need significant enlargement. I'll check it out.
This was entertaining and insightful. I can very much relate to the anxiety around disclosing; having to choose between keeping a secret or having people avoid me like the plague. Glad Joanne was able to be more open and even capitalize on having low vision. I have quite intense nystagmus and am not able to pass.
A fine presentation; message clearly delivered, with clarity and humour. Congratulations and best wishes for the future.
This was very enjoyable , Jay. Best of luck with all your endeavours.
What a great introduction to the project Jay, well done to you and all those who have made this happen.
Really great idea. Jay is an old friend of mine and is absolutely the man with a plan for positive action . Proud to see him :)
