Healing Time Ministries with Dr. Doug Weiss
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 11 ก.ค. 2022
Week after week, many of us walk into a church and sit by people we have known for years... and yet would never dream of sharing our innermost struggles with them. Unfortunately, many churches seem unwilling to talk about certain uncomfortable issues, choosing rather to ignore them, try to cover them up or simply reject people who bring them up.
At Healing Time Ministries, we have chosen to pick up the torch and light the way to help those who are deeply struggling with unaddressed issues. We help equip leaders and share spiritual teaching paired with therapeutic tools to help the body of Christ heal from deep rooted wounds that are impacting families all over the world.
Our heart is to have lives saved, marriages restored, and prodigals return home.

Great video!
Amen. Good message 🔥
I call it selfishness self centered period !!!!!!!! Love is not selfish dont demand its own way
Wow this is so true! I’ve asked that question of the Lord so many times! My mother is in advanced dementia and totally dependent on me. I promised my dad before his promotion to heaven that I would keep her home and not put her in a nursing home. I can’t go anywhere or do anything unless I have a sitter for her. My enjoyment in life has dwindled. I’m 66 and my time, five years of providing has slipped away.
Who came up with the phrase "Intimacy Anorexic"?
Mine scored 10/10 what do I win? Because it feels like a nightmare I can't wake up from.
Mine has all 3. You are describing him to a T
Where can I get that test. I would like to give it to my husband. Not sure he will accept that he is one because I have tried and tried to make him see it ! Over 24 years
Please change the irritating 🎵 put something soft like 525 Hz healing frequencies not frequencies that disrupt your cells thank you
This is helpful
Keep these series up . The views maybe low but people are watching
Will do. Thanks for your comment!
My husband does all the things you brought up in the video.im hurting so bad over this, and he don't want help should I divorce him
I'm sorry that you are experiencing this in your marriage. Your pain is real and I want you to know that your feelings are valid. If you need any help with this, I would suggest getting with a Christian counselor to help you navigate this and give you support. You can check out our Married & Alone materials which may provide validation for what you're going through: healing-time-ministries.myshopify.com/collections/married-and-alone-resources We also have a few free Bible plans that you might helpful as well: www.bible.com/reading-plans/21054 www.bible.com/reading-plans/21707
Men make men
Such necessary conversations.. thanks Dr Weiss 👌🏽
So good 👌🏽 Thanks sir
Appreciate some of the content, but most of it seems like a sell to start a group.
Thank you for this message 💕 💖 😊😊
My husband was a very involved in church. He stopped during covid and never went back. He is so generous denies me nothing but affection!!!!
My husband and I are in this. He does everything for me. He drives me everywhere (I just fot a new hip) he is very nice. However we are roommates. We have been married 23 years Nov 5. I am self medicating with alcohol. I had stopped drinking. I am so loney and feel guilty about it.
This is classic behavior of the JEZEBEL spirit! And I got divorced largely because of this behavior, withholding sexual intimacy and affection is a reverse form of adultery, it is abandonment! Thank God for divorce it this situation. I this is emotional and spiritual abuse.
I don’t have porn blocker, if I’m that messed up that I’m looking at porn I need to get right with God and get deliverance. We need to choose not to look 👀 at porn just like we choose not to get drunk.
Why can't I find episode 76 ftom.daystar tv ???
The empty kitchen chair was like a knife in the heart for me and my son. Today so many years later she decided to disown me completely.
Do you have streaming?
These always say withholding sex. What if I'm the one withholding the two minutes of physical intimacy because of the lack of everything else? These people are fine with a couple minutes to meet their needs they just don't date you pursue you or have any interest in it in the other type of intimacy. So you're the one who withdrawals physically because you feel used.
Can it really be healed? My husband has IA. Please Lord create a miracle in our marriage.
What if both partners are intimacy anorexics? I can see I am based on your list. I also see the same in spouse.
This is quite common. If both do the work, they can have a intimate marriage. You would want to see someone who is certified in Intimacy Anorexia. You can check out the Intimacy Anorexia resources here: healing-time-ministries.myshopify.com/collections/intimacy-anorexia-resources If you need help, you can call Heart To Heart Counseling Center at 719-278-3708.
Wow
Praise the Lord for Day Star ministry.
Thanks a lot
I cannot thank you enough for this message. I have been on a healing journey with the Lord, having had an abortion 30 years ago. As you said, it is so, so sad to me that this is never addressed in the church. I want to order your book & journal ❤️🩹 as I feel like this is my calling-ministry.
If you feel THAT ALONE...you need a relationship with Jesus Christ. He should be your EVERYTHING first.
We have plenty of sex, because that's the only way we connect.
I'm a single parent that carries some guilt and shame yet. And as a christian mom, it's heartbreaking and it's like a huge rejection When you're kids, turn their back on you and reject you.😢
I'm so glad I came upon this series. But my heart's cry is that it often comes from a place of christian parents... I never raised my children christian and I vito christian twelve years. My son was baptized and has a bit of a belief. My daughter never had any "raise up a child training"But other than that they don't know that relationship with christ.
What would you say to the spouse that has spent almost 4 decades being neglected and then the withholder expects reciprocal attention when they realize that the spouse is fed up with all of the neglect and acting out and basically has nothing left to give nor the desire to try and there is fear of being put back into a emotional harmful situation. It is like Lucy and the football.
It hurts my heart to hear that you have experienced so many years of emotional pain and loneliness in your marriage. The feelings of exhaustion and apprehension you have right now are completely understandable, as well as the partner betrayal trauma that you have because of his neglect and withholding. If you are going to stay in the relationship, you might want to seek support and guidance from a counselor, which could be a good step for the two of you to resolve these issues. If you are interested, you can contact Heart To Heart Counseling Center at 719-278-3708 and do a 5 day partner betrayal trauma intensive with neuromodulation to help expedite the healing process. You might find the book "Married & Alone" or"Partner Betrayal Trauma" helpful in validating what you have experienced: healing-time-ministries.myshopify.com/products/married-and-alone-book?_pos=3&_sid=9e575c5f0&_ss=r healing-time-ministries.myshopify.com/products/partner-betrayal-trauma®-book?_pos=5&_sid=ce8ba1ae3&_ss=r Another thing that he can do is a thorough validating amend found in the Making Amends DVD. (While the DVD is geared towards husbands who are recovering sex addicts, a lot of the principles can still apply to other situations). You would do well to heal yourself at this point. healing-time-ministries.myshopify.com/products/making-amends-video-download-1

Crazy, that I’m finding these videos 7-11-2024, and they’re literally a LIFESAVER for me rn. Thank you, Dr Weiss!!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Glad to hear that!
Thank you, Dr Doug Weiss.🙏🏻 You and Dr Tim Fletcher have TRULY gotten me through this hellscape scenario I’m in. (21yrs married, 3 kids)😢💔⛓️💥
I was busy homeschooling and raising our 3 kids (while he kept me/us in poverty, yet HE had his secret bank accounts and money!?), but he was busy doing doing doing ALLLL the shit he wanted to do, ALL the time. Feels like I’m just realizing: I’ve been married to a man who is a polygamist!? He has “other lives” and “other wives”…. 🤦🏻♀️ fml
It takes two people to make a marriage work.
Thank you for this, Dr Weiss.🙏🏻
I really am married and alone. My wife lives thousands of miles away. This is my second marriage and we have been married for only a little over 5 years. We have been separated (not a legal separation) for more than 4 of those years. So, I live alone. I am retired and much, much older than my wife. I never had any children but my wife has 4. Three of them adults by now. My first marriage ended in divorce after 33 years. In that marriage I felt alone for many years. We were separated for the last 6 years of our marriage and then divorced. We did live like roommates for many years.
I hear all you say. Thank you so much for bringing up this topic..Yes this topic hits home..for me - God enable me to repent worship me, obsessive self pity, obsessive self focus, needy,.. Kingdom of me..not Kingdom of God. Not worshipping God ! whinny, wimpy, dominate.. subtle, passive, manipulate..I'm on the 28:30 throne of my heart..not God ! like it's all about me..when from my youth I was always alienated in my birth family and I shamefully used sex- early childhood sex, then teen sex addiction .. masturbation- a loner- just using people- etc..then sudden fear thought just get married last I become old maid. From my birth family stunning pain, trauma, estrangement, alienation, isolation.. just admitting my faults, confessing my sin, mercy to walk in The Light .God knows all about me - then desperately clinging to -worship a person-desperate for a person to meet haunting need..I realize only God's love infiltrate, permeate, saturate my heart with His love! God is love. Gradually now over the years desperate obession for love of man, affection, approval, acceptance, tell me, convince me I mean something to you..too much pressure on another person who is also trying to function, endure pressures in their own life, quietly go to work, pay bills, childcare,
Thank you
Would this be good for the spouse who wants to have healing if the other spouse does not engage in moving forward? Need to know if this is right for me.
I know I fail at least one of these daily. Thank you for this episode to confirm what I have been praying about. 🙏🏻
