    What's that buzzing sound?

    • @SafetyMonitors
      @SafetyMonitors ปีที่แล้ว

      That's the pump. There are 2 versions of the unit one diffusive (this passively responds to gas) and this version with a pump. The pump allows for pre-entry testing with a probe and faster response times on the gas sensors.

    What that mean by cal failure, after that the screen shows cal dur 12 1 d means

    • @SafetyMonitors
      @SafetyMonitors ปีที่แล้ว

      The 121 d signifies how many days until full calibration is due according to the settings on the unit. This will usually be a recommended frequency of every 180 days depending on your setups, regional and company requirements. In terms of the cal failure on start up this is usually because of the O2 sensor. When the unit first starts up it does a fresh air calibration on the Oxygen Sensor. If you are getting the calibration failure message at this point it’s usually because the O2 sensor has failed to calibrate correctly to fresh air. This can be for a variety of reasons, maybe a faulty or old O2 sensor that needs replacement but could also be due to low battery condition on the unit so there is enough to start it up but not enough current flowing through the sensor at start up for it to correctly automatically calibrate. If you are still finding the error after a full charge I would recommend returning to an Authorised Honeywell service centre such as Safety Monitors in the UK or a regional Authorised centre if outside the UK and Ireland. I hope that helps.

    Hello, thanks for the video, have you got one pumped? when the alarm of pump is on, what I can do for reset it? thanks!

    • @SafetyMonitors
      @SafetyMonitors ปีที่แล้ว

      The unit shown is a pumped model, if you need to reset the pump after a blockage acknowledge the alarm with a Y button this will then restart the pump, if the blockage remains I am afraid it will not restart. You will need to send the unit in to a service centre for works if this is the case and you can't locate the blockage on the front filter as it may have debris within the pump. Hope that helps

    • @SafetyMonitors
      @SafetyMonitors ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a bluetooth adaptor you can get for the Microclip which will give you a live view via mobile app however this will not download any data. If you need that functionality you would need to look at the BW Icon or BW Flex instruments which have come more recently. The data is also limited to 35 events it doesn't have full data logging.

    Thanks so much for the video. But how do I disable the alarm unit?

    • @SafetyMonitors
      @SafetyMonitors 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can disable the audio alarms via the menus, you access these by pressing the Mode and N buttons then go to alarm setting and you should see an option to disable the audio and visual alarms, I wouldn't recommend this outside of some specific applications however as these are there to protect you and your colleagues. You can also do this by connecting up the unit via the supplied serial cable to a PC and use the free ProRAE Studio 2 software to change a variety of settings, this is often easier and more intuitive, just download the software from raesystems.com and then connect up the unit, enter data manager mode password is rae. Then download settings, update what you need and send the settings back to the unit. The last bit is important, if you don't send the settings back to the unit it won't be stored. I hope that makes sense and helps.

If you leave the monitor on the dock until the power light turns green, the logs will be downloaded and the dock will purge the gas from the monitor with fresh air, preventing it from going into alarm as it did in the video.
