That guitar intro is so amazing, too bad they couldn’t find a singer to match it. This guy doesn’t have the voice, or any kind of stage presence. Total mis-match…
Is the concert available in full - I heard the Japanese concerts were the best I came to this through a Jonesy's jukebox session with Earl Slick - check it out Peace and love humans if you can find it
Slick is one of my favorites. Beautifully on the edge of sloppy. He makes that work so great. All feel. Love it. And his signature p90 Framus. Always wanted the hardtail version of this. Awesome
Oh just wow. Just wow wow wow. I love this. who are these people? Thank you weird youtube algorithm. i don't know why but you threw this at me. Awesome human beings
Earl Slick played with Bowie on and off since 1974, and on this song/album, Station to Station, Bernard Fowler has played with The Rolling Stones for a long time
I love the fact that Fowler can nail even that Bowie vibrato. Bonus points for dedication. Beautiful cover. Somewhere David looks on and nods approvingly.
Another guitarist that doesn’t always get the credit he deserves! I love his ‘sound’ so much better than the multitude of widdlers and power chord crunchers !! Fantastic performance by all the band 👌
David Bowie I think ,would be proud , fabulous cover..earl slick fabulous ,Bernard Fowler super...my fav song. I was looking around on pinterest and found this.Thx for the upload.
Just seen this, wish I’d caught it earlier. A brilliant tribute to a talented, genuine man. Remember heading down with a mate to see him play in a bit of an outpost bar, in Barley Mow, one night. We had a good chat with him after his gig, hearing about his time as a Spider and in music generally. Wish he was still around.

Bernard nails Bowies vocals and the band is great
Fantastique
Earl Slick Goddammit. Genius
Great effort
An abomination musically but the singing is very good

Some of the audience think it's all over at 7:20
Earl Slick over milking it as usual. Over egging the pudding , pushing notes that aren’t needed.
Slick.
I started reading the comments during the intro…..”man this is gonna be good” I thought. Ha , a load of crap, a real disappointment. Sucked.
Who is the blond guitarist?
The guy from Spandau Ballet? But can't remember his beautiful name :(

Departed far to soon,great tribute.
Excellent song.... I hope my youtube Bowie Interpretations do him proud too .... so cool.
Oh God, this is glorious
Too much guitar noodling. Far away from Slicky's studio version
Earl Slick, Bernard Fowler, and great backing vocals (and guitar) from Gerry Leonard.
Gerry Leonard wasn't on that tour - that's Steve Norman from Spandau Ballet
@@maniacsquatrecords Thanks for the update (:
Who else is watching this again? Just awesome

Almost better than the duke.too much.

Saw Bowie and Earl do this at the Montreal Forum 1976. Fabulous. Also seen Bernard with the Stones 4 times. Talented man.
Correction. Talented ‘Men’
Love Earls Marshall amp.
Earls like a mash up of Keith and Jeff Beck. Lol
I was there too in Montreal. Spectacular night!!!
nice handling of your phone, Steve.

Don't forget Earl Slick wrote Station to Station

Bernard Fowler has been a backing vocal of The Rolling Stones for many years.
since Steel Wheels, 33 years
Fab !
Still one of the greatest intros
You used your phone well. Thanks.
davey jones how did this occur!!
Excellent
Bernard Fowler really does this justice, ‘something’ in his voice I really like 👍
Another guitarist that doesn’t always get the credit he deserves! I love his ‘sound’ so much better than the multitude of widdlers and power chord crunchers !! Fantastic performance by all the band 👌
There are a million underrated guitarists.
I find the comments so far churlish! There is no doubting the talent of Slick, recognised or not 🙄
Earl is one of my very favorite players, Luv his tone, and his supercharged playing.
WOW great cover
Marshall JCM 800 2205 or 2210?
Don't understand this, don't compute...Earl played with Lorde Life on Mars...
David Bowie I think ,would be proud , fabulous cover..earl slick fabulous ,Bernard Fowler super...my fav song. I was looking around on pinterest and found this.Thx for the upload.

Been a fan since 73
Come back to UK. I missed this.

Interesting take to have a black guy singing about the thin white duke. Earl is fab as always.
good in a way, you know he's not singing about himself in 3rd person :P imho he sounds amazing!
A+
Excellent:)
