Yes, that is correct. A month before the crop goes ready to harvest. Corn you will forage harvest when it is the (dark green) growing stage. This will give you chaff to produce silage from by dumping into a bunker silo. Where as the Combine will harvest corn when the ready to harvest appears.

@@proscott33 I would do that on all economies trying to effectively use the animal bi-products is not worth the time. The amount it takes for the area you get per tank isn't worth it.

@@proscott33 Agreed. Just use the bi-products as a discount. Rather than buy the extra equipment it would take. I just wanted to try it and see what it result in. Thank you for the kind comments, glad you enjoyed the video.

@@lbigheadm9690 Yes, for sure. It does use so much more of the bi-product. That field I done was only about 1ha. If you do a larger field the amount of times you'd have to refill wouldn't be worth it.

Hmmm... Do you see an option for it in the menu? Mine says hold H and when I do, I can set the AI pattern or switch with the tab on top of the gui menu to toggle to steering asssist. If you have a controller or side panel hooked up, it may be different for you. You can also Try checking your control settings.

I completely agree. This wasn't an economy test and I more than certain that it will take more 10 game years to make just the investment back. These are just some thoughts and ideas I had for the dairy farm production setup. I've recently started playing with the mushroom greenhouses on my actual playthrouh. Interested to see how that goes.

I've often thought about something like that. Like you can't stand on the back of a trailer while someone else would drive and another player could throw the small bales up to you to stack them. I just thought that would be cool if you could just stand on the back of a moving bale trailer.

While I can see where you're coming from. That which they are boasting about most ISN'T what caught my attention. I'm more interested in the Animals, they've told us what they are going to be about, but I am curious to see how they went about it. I've been playing since Farming Simulator 19, I've always felt there was a lot left to be desired there. They just weren't real interesting. So I hope they don't dissappoint me on this aspect. AND I've always wondered why they didn't have goats. LoL.

From your Farming Simulator game menu, you will Select 'Options'. Then 'Display Settings' at the bottom, you should see an option for 'Advanced Graphics' Select Hardware profile 'Very High' You should see the options for 'FidelityFX Super Resolution 3' That has settings for quality, performance and more. Just play with those settings. Apply those, then go back Now your Frame Limit should go to 120 or further. Hope this was helpful.

It's been a while, but as far as I am aware, the robot feeder cow barn does NOT accept grass. @09:30 you will notice that I used the forage wagon to dump hay in the correct slot. The trigger will pop up with the button to dump hay and start overloading.

What’s the straw pellets for and do you put them in the same place as the straw

@@OLDDREW Great question... I think that I have actually tried this and it says straw pellets not accepted here on the feed side, but if you take them inside it can be used as bedding in place of the straw. In my video Straw Harvest and Animals, I wasn't using the robot cowbarn but when I delivered pellets inside the barn, the hay pellets went to the feed side and the straw pellets went towards the conditions side. Hope this was helpful.

@@OLDDREW Yeah me too, everything about the pellets are time consuming and expensive. I don't even use the cowbarn with the robot feeder to often.

@simfarmerjim I love being a rancher, and I've been trying to stockpile as much feed as possible but can't because most (if not all) silos can't store it

@@goldenwind7138 yes, considering if you have base game there aren't any options. Without mods, there are no silos that will work.

Not sure... With fs19 and fs22 I bought through steam so I used it through that. For fs25 I am pre-ordering the download and the Collectors edition.

Logging, I assume? Good question, hope the physics of it improve. The manual shifter must've been sorted, that has been a blemmish for 3 years now.

@@basstrammel1322 oh yeah, logging did get better after the release of Farming Simulator 22 - Platinum Expansion, but I still usually avoid it if I can. lol.

Not that I am aware of. 23 is a mobile version that can be found on the play store. As for 25, you can pre-order it now for Windows, Mac, PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X | S

That's a great question! Maybe I'll do a compare test on it at some point. But a quick look on information shows (on easy) the straw pellets sell for $500 per 1000 liters. In the heating plant 1000 liters of straw pellets converts to 600 Electric Charge. Now the electric charge always seems to be a variable to me. So if the electric charge sells for more than $833 per 1000 electric charge. It just may be worth it.

Well hope you found this video helpful. In my experience Pelletizing overall is a fun and different way to store those products. I don't think it's anymore profitable than other methods although and time consuming.

Last time I was on FS22 I used it, but at the rate the chipsets and graphics cards keep advancing you're probably correct.

Yeah, that would work for me too. I'm still about 8 hours out of Chicago but that would work.

LoL, sure you could do that. But I'm not so sure I'd use it on a career mode that I planned on Farming. Looks like it would get to be a big pain.

It can vary since everyone's button layout can be different and if you are using a controller or on console it will be different too. If you've used a silage bunker and untarpped it, it should be the same button you use to untarp a silage bunker to cut open a bale.

LoL, Completely Agree! I think this is the first and last time I done poplar. I don't think I've ever done it on Farming Simulator 19 either. Never could see the ROI being worth it.

There are two 3 point pallet forks that came with the Premium DLC and can be found in the Premium Expansion pack. Manufacturer : WIFO there is the P46B and the HMZ 340/3000. These are found in Miscellaneous category though not front loader tools. The HMZ one is my favorite of the two. They work better than the front loader tools for the tractors in my opinion.

lol, yeah I guess I could have covered that a little better Edwardnash. You can find the Anderson Group IFX720 XTRACTOR under Tool > Bale Wrappers. This is base game equipment.

I usually use the 720. THe Hybrid will do both round bales and square bales if I'm not mistaken.

yeah but i just can’t get either of them to work

-The 720 only takes 125cm - 180cm Round Grass Bales. -You do need to enter it and turn it on like a tractor. -You do need to unflod it. -could be a mod conflict. -If your on a server that could be the issue. Hope some of these help, that's all I could think of off the top of my head.

@@simfarmerjim thx i got it to work finally. one question - after loading bales he wrap them in whole long "sausage", is it needed to manually unload it to make bales one by one?

A week late, but I did want to mention it.

That would be cool to come up with a community type thing where you could jump from one map to another, even if it's just to sell crops.

Then you should probably back out then re-adjust the settings. Until you find the configuration that works for your system.
