I will have to check out that pattern. I have not seen it. With most stitch patterns, you can change them slightly to fit the project. Sometimes it can get confusing because of the math. Happy Crocheting!!☺

@@theprettystitch7092 it has the harlequin stitch being done in the round and I have not been able to find the video or anyone doing it in the round with the 8+1 directions that are in the pattern. Lots of ppl doing 8+2 flat versions and one person that did it in the round. Guess I’ll be ripping it out now. lol. I’m a couple stitches off somewhere. Might as well start practicing it on a blanket first tho since I have ur brilliant video to help me. lol. Hoping that makes a difference. lol. Thx again.

@@sometimesiwander7146 I've not tried it in the round. I'll have to play around with it. Working in the round can definitely be different than working in rows.

I've made several.pillows with this beautiful stitch using the 8+2 count. What I'm wondering if this stitch could be used in a simple shell top. I'm using Alize Cream Microfiber 2 wt yarn with a 3.5mm hook.😊

@@theprettystitch7092 yeah it would be fine, I've seen plenty of videos with people's kids interrupting honestly I think people like it when they hear or see into our lives. I don't think it would be bad interruptions but good. Lives are really hot right now I'm noticing a lot of people are growing huger and getting lots of super thanks.

OK I thought I figured it out on my own. but the more I thought about it what I thought I figured out doesn’t make any sense. I thought that you needed to save a chain for each row you were going to do so like chains 8 through 11 would be for rows 1 through 5, but that’s only 4 chains.

@@raelynarnold2319 I will need to figure the math out a little more and get back to you. This is one way to do entrelac. You could do it with more than the 7 stitches and 5 rows. I just wanted to show the basics on how it is done.

Yes, you can add as many wedges as needed for fit. You could even work half a wedge too. Or you could bump up a hook size. Also, I am a tighter crocheter, so if you crochet more loosely, the fit might be okay for an average adult.

Thank you for watching. It's okay if you don't like making hats. I don't like making stuffed animals. I've made a few and they were cute, but I did not enjoy the process at all! I love making cowls too, and wearing them. They are so fun and practical.

@@theprettystitch7092 Stuffed animals/amigrumi has never interested me either! So many people are making them, but I've never understood the reason why. If I'm going to spend my time and money to buy the yarn, I'd much rather spend it making things I can wear or use. I enjoy making cowls, shawls, and blankets. I really want to make sweaters (crochet and knit), as well as knit socks. I've tried knitting socks several times. I can do just fine knitting from the cuff down to the heel. Then I start getting frustrated and always quit. I recently bought a whole set of the 6" Knitters Pride circulars to knit socks with but haven't tried using them yet. One of these days I hope to try and see if using them I can conquer making socks!😘🧦 Thru the years I've bought a huge quantity of sock yarn just waiting to be used. Hope your ankle is feeling better. When you have to mow this week, I wondered if you could wrap it in an ace bandage or something in order to provide strength to your ankle as it's healing? I used to love mowing my yard. Age (70 yrs) and health problems finally caught up with me so now I have to have someone to do my lawn care. See you next time and have a good weekend!
