Thanks for checking it out! The film is complete and we have it circulating in film festivals, but with all the delays due to COVID that's admittedly left our eventual release date more uncertain - could mean sooner, could mean later. I just put up the trailer to drum up interest! I'd recommend following on Facebook for updates!
@@alexfurnas1263 I see. I had a similar problem with my short 'Breaking in' in germany. I decided to upload the film on youtube with english subtitles since the festivals that already selected us were either cancelled or delayed.

This is anthemic. Truly a Marxist-Leninist masterpiece. Such a great satire of the banality, deception, cruelty and the soullessness of the corporate world. The use of audio to heighten the creepiness that our modern day capitalism is is truly breathtaking. *spoiler alert* . . . . . . . . The father's line "You've gotta eat bugs, boy" reveals so much about our current state of affairs. We labor in this exploitative fiction of an economic system that is from an outside objective perspective, totally unnatural and repulsive, like eating bugs. Yet due to intense socialization pressures engineered by the bourgeois, we are brainwashed into believing that Capitalism is the most logical system. If one doesn't like wage slavery, they are led to believe that they have to accept it as just a part of life, it just is, and the work ethic of the critic should be the question. So, as revolutionaries seeking to raise the class consciousness, our aim shall be to counter this dreadful defeatist narrative that has become deeply ingrained into the collective psyches of the proletariat.
