I remember when I was a young boy I use to have this strong desire to be a pastor and I had a voice out this world.I song in the choir, and I wouldn't let nobody are nothing to keep me from the love and work of God.I yearn for that fire back in my soul please keep me in prayer.I truly look up to you and your ministry and will for God keep your praise on fire.

The part about people can’t handle your humanity really resonated with me. I have to remind people I’m not Jesus I’m just a man. I’ll let you down if your faith is built on me.
I know it might have been too personal to ask but I kind of wanted to know what are some of the challenges of dating as a woman who pastors.
I like when Dr. Carter said he learned how to be influenced by a preacher without duplicating them. I been struggling with if I should listen to other pastor/preachers sermons on TH-cam. I was subscribing to all the preachers I like to hear churches TH-cam channels. So I was listening to preaching all the time. But I found myself starting to duplicate their style. What are your thoughts on that? Should a preacher listen to other people sermons?
I have to preach tomorrow but have had an incredibly difficult week. This talk helped get me back in the ‘mood’ to preach. Thank you.
