Five years ago my cat died and I listened to this song on repeat and it's safe to say the title is correct

i've had to prepare myself for the death of my oldest cat (I have 4 at the moment) for a couple years now, she has a weird eye infection that wont go away and now perhaps an ear cancer and she's been so depressed since she was only 2, which was when we introduced the second cat to her, and now she's turning 11. She only let's me pet her, and she's super affectionate with me and nobody else, not even with the other cats. In fact, she will hiss at them whenever they get close and seek shelter in my closet. I love her so much, she's been with me since I was 8 (i am now 18) and I wouldn't change her for anything. I want her to be happy, and I believe she would at least be happier if we moved to a house with a big garden she could play in, since we don't allow out cats to go outside since november 2019, when a neighbor threatened to hide poison in her garden because one of my cats would jump in every so often (I don't talk to her since, she's the worst). She only ever sleeps in my bed with me, but my mom tells me that whenever I'm away for a couple days she will cry and sleep in my closet instead. She's napping in there right now because the youngest cat is on my bed today. Recently, evey time I see her sleeping and not moving my heart drops because I'm expecting the worst, so I wake her up just in case but i'm afraid she's not gonna wake up one day. I'm gonna miss her so much when she's not with me anymore, and I know I'll torture myself knowing I wasn't able to give her the life she deserved. This song destroyed me and I'm crying as I write this

I feel like the instrumental is soooo good but I the voice is a little too quavering at times I think there are other ways to show emotion within singing. Overall still really like the song!

I know its been 4 years but I truly hope you found Casper or at least found closure. I got lost everything, had to foster my cat. He ended up getting stolen. This song just gets that exact feeling. The last time I saw Chichiri, I promised I'd see him again. Never knew it would be the last time

My beautiful darling baby girl passed away two nights ago and i havent been able to deal with it properly, but i really do appreciate your song. She was the sweetest little.black kitten with emerald green eyes that glowed in the dark. She was so talkative and would fill silences with her cheery meows. She was only 2 and i miss her so much.
