So the daming of the river was not supposed to happen. Everett made that up because he had to give them a reason to escape with him.
@@wilsonsmanz ah, so that was still part of his story along with the treasure? 😂 It’s also funny how he keeps justifying it at the end too after it happens lol
@MovieswithKennyK lol yeah. That's his character through and through. He knows he made up the whole dam story.
They said at the end of episode 7 that they had satellites that tuned into alien transmissions. That’s how they got the footage of Xavier
Thanks! And I think they said they had to fix it to get the footage? I don’t think it’s on the TH-cam version here but I mention and comment on it in the full length watch on Patreon.
“The humans could learn a thing or two from the mutants” Me: “I’m pretty sure the mutants are the ones that learned an important lesson”
"I'm not sure that's Pete." "Course it's Pete, look at him." 🐸 Great reaction fellas.
@@TheYearWas1929 Thank you! Much appreciated. I friggin love this movie! 🍻
Shouldn´t have read the synopsis before. It´s spoilering the whole experience of finding out.
Well I had to look up the movie to see the year it came out for research purposes. I don’t feel like it spoiled anything for me though. If anything, it sparked more of an interest given that I do acting myself. There has been and will be more reactions to films that I go into knowing much less 👍
If it is Pete .. I am ashamed of him 😂🤣💀
Of course it’s Pete, look at him! 😂

Nightcrawler’s sword skills and powers were so well animated, great seeing Kurt popping off. Also that ENOUGH! From Magneto was chilling man.
@@turknyc7018 I only saw a few comic book illustrations with Nightcrawler and all those swords. So it’s great to see that incorporated for the show! And yes indeed, the “Enough” gives you goosebumps!!!

@@Wolf-ln1ml I just looked up his IMDB and holy shit I do know him! I obviously didn’t recognize him in this movie because of all the getup lol. But man what an incredible voice actor too. RIP indeed!!!
Ugh, I don't like how it must be some great disconnect for you to accept the singing bush/invis swordsman. I really miss when fantasy elements can be included without having to go all logical on it. It is based on old old west kind of story and I don't find something considered magical to be out of place. Imagination and exploring the unknown is the pull. ...Are you for real? 'But that's rap e ?They are murderers and outlaws and you are thinking prison sentence or good modern morals? You make a lot of comments in the same tone so I can't know when you are being serious or thinking it is humorous and joking thing to say it. El Guapo is dangerous cuz he was more educated and charismatic able to gather that following even outside german aid. He didn't need to be the most physical bad ass cuz he was the leader of the brutes. Just look at the Amigo's, they aren't impressive in appearance or build, but they win through skill, cleverness and cooperation. It wasn't like a superhero thing or even Clint Eastwood old west, it was more about wits instead of one man armies.
Well first off let me respond by asking you if you watched the entire feedback at the end. Did you? Because I clearly stated that I enjoyed this movie lol. So as for my opinion on the singing bush and invisible swordsman, I'm confused as to how you "don't like" it lol. Critique is not meant to be liked or disliked, you simply agree or you don't. I do in fact very much appreciate that you have confirmed that the singing bush and swordsman are part of old western folktale because, although not mentioned in this TH-cam version, I do make a comment in my full length reaction (found on Patreon) asking the very question if those characters were based on actual stories. So thank you for clearing that up for me. You can most certainly have fantasy elements to enjoy for what it is without bringing logic into it. But as a writer myself? Not when it's introduced until the middle of your second act lol. At least in the context of this particular story where everything before the bush and swordsman can almost pass for truth. Now as for my comment about what Jefe said to El Guapo, you can bet I am indeed still going to hold them accountable to consent with a woman whether or not they're outlaws and criminals lol. Also, it is not my problem if you cannot differ my humor from my seriousness based on my speech patterns. I can't help you there buddy. As for El Guapo himself, once again, as a writer, it doesn't necessarily mean he has to be physically imposing. If I may clear this up now, I only said something along the lines of big and scary because it's easy for the viewer to imagine. But there was nothing particular about him as a villain is what I truly mean. Sure, he knows the German dude, but as a writer I don't believe that's strong enough to show he's more educated and capable of leadership. A nice backstory would be needed to be shown if that's the case but the film does not have time for that in three acts. And the Amigos actually are impressive in skill and appearance, otherwise they wouldn't be popular movie stars. And what they lack for in build they make up for being the three of them. When we're first introduced to El Guapo, he's doing a photo shoot. I don't know many tough guys who are leaders of a gang that do this. Do you? lol. I mean it's certainly possible, but it doesn't register on screen very well. How about instead of a photographer, he's demonstrating some sort of particular skill that his men don't have? So that's an example right there. But again, I really did enjoy this movie and I'm glad I got to discuss it with its biggest fan! Thank you.
@@MovieswithKennyK Not sure you took my comments in the right spirit, but I'll just say for now I am not saying the magical elements was an actual known western folklore. I was talking in generalities, and the vibe they give off. That to me some unexplainable thing like that would not feel out of place in such a film.
@@Lunarbob19 Well I'm simply not familiar enough with old western folklore to feel like those elements fit. I mean I know places like New Mexico is the land of enchantment, but I don't know if that means I can justify the particular said characters we mentioned before 🤷♂ That's all lol. Nobody can know about everything, right?
The female alien is Missy Pyle and boy can she make the crazy eyes...I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed the micro-expression before she kisses Fred

@ I have seen the entire Austin Powers trilogy. So IF and when I watch those for rewatch movies on this channel, it will be if that’s something that people want to see. If you’re a big Mike Myers fan though, there is a well known film that I do plan to watch for the channel eventually. I’ll give you a hint- The character is animated. As for the gloves, that might have to be a Patreon exclusive lol. I can’t just give everything away that easy.
what color of ladies long leather gloves can you wear
People talk about different superhero origins, such as science accidents and experiments, magic, divinity, faith, aliens, training, technology, mutation, etc, but a lot of characters have multiple or a blend of these origin power sources, including the X-men who are unified by all being mutants. Wolverine is a mutant who was experimented on, while Beast experimented on himself. Nightcrawler is highly skilled from his circus days on top of his powers, and Gambit and Storm are talented thieves (and a goddess and a witch on some levels). Some characters have magical backgrounds (Storm, Magik, Pixie, Forge, etc), and these abilities have a long tradition in comics, though they vary in popularity depending on the age of comics (the golden age had a lot more gods and magic and high skill and gadgets, the silver age introduced more aliens, etc). But it is sometimes tricky to define what is covered by these broad areas. I originally had the idea that most of Marvel's psychic powers worked on the essence of thoughts, but in the animated series and this one they also have a lot more precognition and postcognition (Madelyne's and Jean's and Xavier's visions, for instance) and the Krakoan age had Cerebro essentially copying souls. Forge's powers let him come up with ways of building devices that even Marvel's greatest inventors would struggle to create, but he also has the magical background from his mother that he eventually unifies with his technological and mutant abilities. The Adversary seems to be an actual demon (albeit more from Cheyene beliefs than from hell) who is here manifesting in a manner to target Storm and Forge, taking on Storm's voice and getting into her head in a way that resembles the Goblin Queen's hellish haunting at the school. It is all somehow real, but also magical and nebulous. My other take was that Rogue has felt torn between her past as a former supervillain and her present as a hero. She tried to keep Gambit at arm's length in the animated series, but he worked his way beneath her defenses and she had to open up to him for her own needs. Then Magneto saunters back into her life and she recognizes that similar struggle in him between heroism and villainy that she wrestled with, and tries to help him with better communicating with the X-men. But he still has feelings for her, and he is so experienced with his powers that he can do things with them (as an Omega level mutant) that others couldn't imagine, including shielding himself from the effects of her touch... which, in addition to his appearance and style, make him an attractive figure for Rogue (if you'll pardon the magnetic reference). He also recognizes that Rogue as a person and a mutant is a compelling figure with leadership potential and empathy that he lacks... he admits that he is not ideal as a leader but there are no better to deal with this diplomacy and figures he needs Rogue on his side to manage it in top of his other duties. Rogue's definitely in love with Gambit, but she also has feelings for Magneto as well, and she's more mature than she used to be when they first met. She wants to touch and be touched, but she's scared of causing harm, so she's trying to be as sure as possible about both what she absolutely needs (Gambit's love, a chance to better the world and protect others, living up to Carol Danver's heroism) and what she wants (physical touch and intimacy, better control of her powers, etc). Rogue's powers also make her lived experience supremely confusing... even if she doesn't have the doctor's medical skills anymore, some of his thoughts probably linger in her head, and Carol Danver's personality might still be trapped somewhere inside her even though Jean helped with that. It doesn't make the dance scene any easier for Gambit, but it is a sign of her struggle to understand herself as well as what the guys are asking of her.
Good first point about character origins. I guess even with abilities, that's half the story ya know. Every hero and villain still needs that tragic backstory and trauma. As for Gambit, Rogue, and Magneto, I definitely pick that all up and agree. But I guess all of Gambits simping throughout the years finally paid off 🤣
23:14 She made a suit out of Adversary fur coat and feathers it s why she wears Black Now.

Awesome! And I really really appreciate you telling me which one it happened in. I'll do my best to get my hands on it. Thank you!
I used to love Wolverine when I watched the cartoon as a kid, and i still do love him, but man.... The way the live action movies GLAZE him so hard at the cost of literally every other characters development had always annoyed the hell out of me. They are VERY lucky that they managed to get an actor as charismatic as Hugh Jackman for the role of Logan for all of these years because it's impossible to hate the guy. But man, I HATED how everyone else had to be a sacrifice just for him to repeatedly be held up as "THE X-man". The original 2 live action movies were written by David Hayter (A proud Canadian man and also Solid Snake), then Deadpool and Wolverine had Ryan Reynolds behind it (another famously proud Canadian man) So it can't be helped that they'd prop Wolverine up to be the main star, as he's one of very few Canadian heroes. But JFC.... Does EVERYTHING have to be about him?? I'm not even necessarily a huge Cyclops fan originally but the movies did him so dirty that watching this show made me thank GOD that we finally saw him being a real leader again. I desperately needed a break from Wolverine.
@@yuyu2b I blame a lot of the studio for those movies tbh. I was commenting with someone else here about Wolverine and how he was mine and a lot of others favorite LONG before the movies came out. But I feel like Fox capitalized on that, which led to pretty much everything you’re saying. There’s more evidence of that, considering for how the longest time, Fox didn’t want to touch Deadpool after the massacre of the movie X-men Origins Wolverine. Until of course someone leaked the Deadpool test footage and it blew up and then Fox was all gung Ho about it. Similar story with Sony and those horrendous Spider-Man spin-offs which all started with Venom. To me it’s a pattern here and it’s a shame really. But I’ll always be honest about my favorite comic book characters no matter how bad it may or may not make me look as a generic fanboy.
This is my first time watching a reaction of yours, I'm glad i found your channel. Also you have fantastic hair.

Thing is it's a different universe. I'm just now seeing you so I don't know much but if you ship thor and jane when jane is significantly younger but not rogue and Magento because she seems a tad bit younger tho they are clearly in similar retrospective than that's hypocritical. Written at 24:48 before I've heard what they have said if anything
@@jaspershattered You are correct. Someone also mentioned Logan’s age difference with pretty much everyone and funny enough I responded along the lines of “What’s he supposed to do? Live his extended life out alone and never shoot his shot?” But Rogue and Magneto became a bigger shock to me because I had never seen it coming and it was a surprise. Unfortunately the X-men comics I have don’t include the romance between her and Mags. But my initial reaction remains in the video now forever even if my opinion does change the longer I think about it. I’m also a fan favorite of Gambit and Rogue together so I was feeling one of my favorite X-men going through it lol
@MovieswithKennyK understandable I've just seen so many rogue x Magento haters the shock on your face made me go like oh boy here we go again and that's fine I just always try to put it into perspective for people. I find thor and jane to be one of the best examples since he's like what around 10000 years old possibly more and jane was I think 32 in the main mcu when they met or something I ship rogue and gambit as well but I still like the rogue and Magento ship in this different universe
Didn't realize we could list more than one favorite character on the last video. Mine are... 1. Archangel 2. Storm 3. Rogue 4. Banshee 5. Morph
@@mjmage33 That’s a good list! And hopefully we actually get to see more of Archangel and Banshee in the next season. How did you feel about their portrayal in the FOX films?
@@MovieswithKennyK EHhhhhh. The fox films remain favorites of mine... at least the first three... and the actors did great. But they portrayed just about ALL the characters badly. Archangel should have been redeemed at the end of Apocalypse, Rogue should have had Magneto's powers after nearly dying while absorbing them hooked up to the machine in the first movie, Storm needed way more characterization than just "angry," none of Jean's actions make any sense, Banshee (and Cyclops) were treated horribly and the filmmakers should be ashamed for themselves. Mystique was great, but that also gave some misunderstandings of her character among fans (like expecting her to show up here or be Val Cooper, who is a character in her own rights... Mystique in the show only appears when Apocalypse is involved or when she's messing with Rogue or possibly Nightcrawler, so I expect we'll see more of her in upcoming seasons). Archangel is wealthy and charming and seeking love and connection, but harbors a dark side and must deal with both the human and horrific feelings brought on by his experiences. Between his natural mutations and secondary mutations and transformations and Apocalypse powers and cosmic energy wings and healing blood and resources and experience he should be a match for Wolverine and the fact that he is treated as a joke is poor writing. Banshee is a country-music loving former Interpol agent who went through loss and comes from a noble (and magical) background and was mind controlled and forced to be a villain before the X-men freed him, who sacrificed his power to save Japan from the vibrations of an Earthquake villain planning on destroying the country, only to regain them years later and help save young mutants from an alien invasion. He's a father to another sonic-powered hero and a lover to Moira and a caring teacher who looks out for the Generation X kids and balances out Emma Frost the White Queen. And he's come back from death. Frankly, he's been done dirty by the comics and shows and movies in recent years. Also, about the films: none of them seem to get that superhero stories (especially the X-men) are not really action stories, but more like drama and soap operas with periodic fights and flashy powers in between. The Dark Phoenix Saga is not about the fights, but about the feelings of all these characters, and how love can be corrupted and manipulated and turned devastating, and how second chances involve sacrifices and struggles. The fact that there have been two movies so far and both screwed that up is a condemnation of the Fox films all on its own. Sorry for the huge post, but I think the Fox films have good moments that I love, and enjoy re-watching, but they also have a bunch of mistakes that make them difficult to watch.
@ continuity issues make me hope that Disney learns from Fox’s mistakes. One thing they don’t get right about live action onscreen characters is that these people need to always show their diversity. For example, Halle Berry as Storm doesn’t have an African dialect. Pyro doesn’t sound Australian. These things are importantly not just to be faithful to the characters from the page but to remind everyone that mutants are all around the work, not just in the USA. And I agree about Archangel and Apocolypse. As for Rogue, the issue is unless she receives some extra power that remains permanent, or like you said- Magnetos power, she isn’t very interesting onscreen. Which is kind of why she gets faded out slowly within the next two films.
@ Also don’t ever apologize for a long post. I may not always get to respond instantly or right away, but I will read all the comments at least 👍
@@MovieswithKennyK I think X-men Evolution showed that Rogue could be interesting without a permanent power, but we were all waiting for her to get one throughout the series, and it does leave her less involved and less capable. She can still borrow the powers of others while permanently retaining the powers of Miss Marvel, Juggernaut, Wonder Man, Sunfire, Polaris, etc. And I agree that accents and particular speech patterns make the characters more engaging. In this show, Rogue's analogies and twang, Gambit speaking in the third person and Cajun flirtations, Magneto calling himself the Master of Magnetism at every opportunity, Beast's florid descriptions and educated references, Storm's dramatic invocations of the elements, Morph's pranking visual and verbal jokes, Bishop's vaguely cowboy style of speech, and Scott always grappling with leadership and stress, Wolverine's growling frustration and rage, etc all might be unusual at the very least in real life, but they come across so much better than some of the movie lines (I admit I am dorky enough to love the attempted badassery of "What happens to a toad who gets struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else." But it isn't exactly the sort of thing Storm says, and misses the mark). Pyro should have an australian accent/be played by an australian actor. And while I sympathize with the filmmaker's need to tell a story and make cameos and references to other characters, the way they randomly mixed up heroes and villains comes off as weird. Animated shows have a lot more leeway to make incredible cameos without the cost or difficulty with aging or scheduling actors just to appear briefly.
My favorite X-man is Archangel, so I'm glad Morph used his shape to fly and rescue Wolverine in the first episode.
When Jubilee came she was 19 no longer so Magnus did her at 16
Dude , storm already knows what it s like to be human : She was born and raised in an African tribe , she took care of Mijnari.
Technically they all know what it’s like to be “human”. But I guess not having powers is what I really meant.
Sentinel fight scene waaay to easy . I remember my sentinels a true nightmare. Dude , i still watch over to see if a sentinel is hiding over an office building or trees . Remember Sentinels at the White House ?
10:53 And i would have gotten away with it if it wherent for you pesky mutant freaks !
@@ambrusraul2297 Yeah, I guess that was a pretty scooby doo villain moment lol
They messed up Bishop voice . He had a fine voice and shorter hair doesnt fit him .
@@ambrusraul2297 I think it’s a different actor portraying the voice. I’m not sure who the original is but maybe that’s one of the few they couldn’t get back for whatever reason. As for the hair, idk how I feel. I’m just grateful he played a bigger part in this series.
Excellent reaction 👍 it's cool you actually worked on the show, and I want to hear that story 😜and you earned a sub for that my friend 😁 Muse is a mute serial killer and anarchist, who uses his victims to make what he considers art 😉👍 looking forward to your future videos Kenny 😁👍
@@patrickhurley5604 I appreciate you, Patrick! Thanks so much for the support. Especially the insight to Muse because I’ve been going crazy looking for my comics where he was the bad guy. But I think I do remember him being mute now that you refresh my memory. But yeah, man I got tons of stories being on set doing background on multiple shows & films other than just the superhero ones we’re a fan of so please stay tuned. Thanks again 🍻
just as hyped about Punisher returning as you🙏 looking forward to the show and more reactions🥳
@@luketelevised Hell yeah, man! There’s also talk about The Punisher getting his own series again and if that’s the case you can count on reactions to that show! 🍻
@@MovieswithKennyK YESSS, i need him back on my screen. the way S2 ended felt like there was so much more story to explore.
