Who was on drum? Amzing show!
Very lucky people to see Scott at such an intimate gig
Glad I saw him live with Velvet Revolver in 2005, was a great performance, he had a real stage presence and charisma
Vaseline was Scott Weyand’s last performance? How ironic.
Performance from earlier in the year look like opiate use. This video I can def see signs of an upper like cocaine or MDA - he's more on point...which is sad for his untimely demise.
Joey beats the drums almost to death. I always enjoyed seeing him in QOTSA.
Heeyman been listening to you for the past weeks, it is 2024!!!
Legend gone too soon.
Sounds sober here, singing pretty well. It's obvious his body was still able to bounce back from the abuse, if he only kept clean. R.I.P Scott, one of the best ever.
damn cool song.
There is a crazy business aspect to this. Stp wanted to your. Weiland said no, that will water down the brand. We have to make them wait. Having turned down the stp tour, he promptly did this tour doing stp songs. Super watering down the brand with a half ass version of stp. Funny other business part of this... I guessing he was thinking with his own band, he could keep 90% of the money. And prolly did. But the money was likely nothing compared to the 25% he would have got with stp. Guess that is junkie math. Also likely if he toured with stp, he would have had minders and trainers and bodyguards watching him always. Feel like this tour was him sneaking out of his parents basement to not be bothered.
😉
I love you brother. Somebody you and your boys will be able to watch a Notre Dame football game, again, together. R.I.P.
Hi there! The most recent video is a real crime documentary. I dedicated a significant portion of my time to it, and I'm looking forward to sharing thoughts!
Hey Doug , just a little FYI, this was the Saskatchewan RoughRiders game ( Not Calgary game)😊
Lol he loved standing on the speakers and leaning into the crowd.
He died 2 days later.
Sharp...I want the vista series in the wolf. I own the dragon henna series and traveling guitar safari muse. Love this brand, such great sound
Spot on performing is right! Just shows you he was trying to stay sober, before that relapse night that took his life... in his tour coach bus. Huge waste of his talent gone. RIP buddy
Air drums guy need to piss off.
He croaked 2 days later
RIP, Scott. You are still loved.
He was so flat on this tour. He was terrible on black Friday. He never saw the big picture.
Name of the song, please?.
Parachute
@@alsoult9073 Thank you
I remember their gig in Minneapolis only had 150 pre sale tix..then Weiland overdoses on his bus in a parking lot. This band reminds me of Johnny Thunders and The Heartbreakers....just sadness and addiction.
I hope those waillords know exactly how much they ruined this video for me Hope it was a fun night out you fucking painted wildebeast
STP albums are phenomenal.
Scott will always be the angel who saved me
Thanks broh !!! 🙌
You are very welcome and wishing you a safe and happy summer.
His mic volume is too damn low here.... RIP, such a talent we lost in Scott.... so sad
Compared to the infamous performance of this song from April of the same year its a night and day difference he sounded so good here almost seemed like he was recovering 😔
For real
He was one of the most passionate fellas I've know. LOVE seeing him on point! Thanks for sharing Doug.
You are very welcome and Scott had a great vibe and smile that night.
Unforgettable and unreplaceable! ❤🥺
if you PM me an email ill send you a Photo of Scott from that night i just ask you dont sell it on ebay..lol
Thanks for uploading. Always thought it was cool how Joey Castillo was on drums. Fun fact for you is Nick Oliveri got an offer to play bass but turned it down because he "didn't like the music." Neat little QotSA/Scott Weiland connection there.
Thanks Rich I did not know that Big respect for the fact man. PM me or share your email private and ill send you a photo of Scott from his last show..only if you promise not to print and sell it. Honour system.
Scott was obviously a very troubled man, but you can just tell how much the folks in the crowd love him. I know it's not the stadiums he was used to playing, but damn. Such a loss.
The front row changed a lot in 20 years
Lve the air drummer guy in the audience
Thats Nick Perry a good friend of Scott's and Dave Grohl. He had Dave perform at his Farm in North Ontario a while back.
RIP Scott Weiland (October 27, 1967 - December 3, 2015), aged 48 You will always be remembered as a legend.
He truly is a Rock n Roll star that shined bright we lost too early
I was there…. it was an honor Scott. Saw him a shit ton of times, STP, Solo, VR, STP again, solo. i went every chance i got. Atleast 10 times
Cheers to you Nic and so cool you got to see and the guys at Adelaide Hall. Scott sure had a amazing vibe and smile that night. Remember the good. Thanks for the note..Doug
Sounds good to me rip
He sure gave it his all in his final performance. Sounded great. Maybe he knew. RIP Scott.
Simply the best Scott ❤
I was at this show, Scott was rockin out and seemed to be on his game. Very sad this turned out to be his last, addiction is bullshit.
I miss Scott do very much. Thanks for this.
Happy New Year J L.
I loved this guy RIP
How do you connect the mic into RV6?
Usually with fingers ...kidd'n .....Mic cable 1/4" cable to RV6 input, 1/4" output cable to Amp.
After 20+ years of following STP, Talk Show, Army of Anyone, etc.....I came to my (however unpopular) own opinion that Scott held back the other members of his bands as much as he promoted them. A+ frontman (when sober) D- human being.
Scott was a genius with those lyrics though. So good. I saw them live once and it was easily the best concert I’ve ever been to.
he don't look to bad, i think he was going with the style of the crowd. you know some think or say things would be so much better if he had changed his life and lived it out how you would have. and instead scott ran out his life how he wanted to. not to mention nearly, or possibly completely all of his entertainment days on earth were directly the results of the very thing some claim that was the reason that took his life. it's difficult to peer into the mechanism that makes everyone of us on earth different than each other. i doubt there would have been any scott weiland without his substance use. he might of known from the start what direction he was heading, and needed some shelter or barrier to shield himself away from others, it's easy to being a rock star. gotta love him for all that he was, he shared that much, he knew long before how he was gonna go, and he wouldn't want anyone to feel bad for him, nor blame something he liked as his only downfall.
Failing career, failing lifestyle, then dead shortly after... what a shame.
why did STP play such small venues tho
