0:55 WRONG, This is a misconception from a lot of people when it comes to the reason why Michael would do this to his brother. I want to address that this was BEYOND a small harmless prank by going REALLY in depth in the minigames of what Michael was doing to him. First of all, Michael seems to have hatred towards his younger brother as hinted by The Fredbear Plush in the Minigames when he says, when the Fredbear Plush says in the Minigames, "He left without you", "He knows that you hate it here", and "He hates you." Of course, Michael relentlessly bullies and torments him every day, either by hiding and jumping out at him in his Foxy mask or engaging in other tormenting activities in places where his brother feared, such as Fredbear's. And because he did this every day for literal weeks, His actions significantly contributed to his brother's intense fear of the animatronics. By the time there were only five days left until the party (AKA the time where the Minigames start to take place), his brother's anxiety had escalated to the point where he would cry nonstop every day, even harder if he were to torment him. (Hence the reason they referred to him being a baby) 2nd of all, if all it is was just a joke, why do we see The Crying Child crying nonstop throughout all the Minigames since you know.... it's not normal for a child to be sobbing every day? If Michael was just messing around with him. Then he would never be Emotionally at the point to the point where he was during the Minigames. Going in depth in 0 Days until the Party, the minigame opens with a scene of the Crying Child, surrounded by the older brother and three of his friends wearing masks of the original four animatronics to terrorize him even more. (Given the fact that all of their eyes are black with white pupils just like the animatronics in FNAF 1.) On his brother's birthday party, He thought of going above & beyond and wanted to do something that will Traumatize his brother the most to get the best reaction from him. The original plan was likely picking up The Crying Child, and forcefully carrying him towards the Animatronics until they were satisfied enough, but because of how badly his brother was bawling due being too close to the animatronics, it escalated the situation to the where he & his friends THEN thought of making him give Fredbear a big kiss. Which then ended up with them shoving The Crying Child inside Fredbear's mouth, knowing this would trigger him to cry so hard like never before. This resulted in the hospitalization of his little brother, leaving him with profound guilt and remorse. (I apologize for this being a long comment btw)

Micheal is designed to be a flawed character and we should accept that he is its very textbook too ; Killing your own brother in his own birthday that you tormented before that day ? Even if accidental it cannot be looked over.
