People in the UK and USA are so lucky with how many used bikes are available. Australia is totally hopeless when it comes to used bikes and parts

Bought mine in 2002 with 7,000 miles on it. It now has 65,000 miles and the best compliment I can pay it is: If my garage was on fire, this is still the bike I'd run out with first!

I bought one of these brand new in 2000. It was my first street bike. I didnt die!!!!! I learned a lot about being safe but still having fun. I wish I had that bike again but I would not be able to afford the speeding tickets. Just like back in the day which is why I sold it.

Well,here we go,sold my Harley last year,I'm 60 years old and just bought a 2024 monkey,I will take delivery this afternoon,we are in the middle of winter here in Okanagan British Columbia 🇨🇦can't wait ,so excited about this little bike 😊

Hornet 900s sound a bit rattly like the cam chain is about to let go, I get the feeling the exhausts are a bit obnoxious as well.
Whats the black box? The original -84 Monkey was smaller than the modern Jincheng and similiar ripoffs. It also was super quiet, silent, with 4-stroke semi-automatic engine.

I'm on 73k on my C2. Done Scotland & Spain this year 👍. A bike that does everything rather well. It will potter around town, Sunday morning run outs etc. I won't mention 170mph & ton in 10 seconds, people may get the wrong idea .....👍😂

Yep, Spain & Portugal where great 👌. 2500 miles, 10 days. Could have turned round & done it again the bike was that comfortable 👍.
How is in traffic? I m a V twin person, easier to ride at lower rpm.

I’ve had mine for years, they are quick, and lighter than you’d think. I’ve got other bikes but this is my old lady. First production bike to do 1/4 mile under 10 seconds too.

Owned one Too tall Seat miserable Windscreen a joke Suspension was mush FI was very snatchy off throttle needed a aftermarket tune ( which I did and it improved the bike dramatically) It should have been a Speed Triple with a windshield and hard bags Instead its another discontinued model

I'm looking to trade a bike of mine for one of these.....and looking at the comments, you guys really like this one. The one I'm looking at needs a clutch. looks like it's worth the headache.
I would be interested to know your thoughts on the road work. I have been looking seriously at a GPX two stroke, but I need to do a good twenty miles on the road before I get into the Derbyshire Peak District. Don’t have the luxury of just throwing in the back of a van 😂 So wondering how it copes on the road?

I don’t know why Suzuki doesn’t relaunch this bike…out of all the muscle bikes on the market it’s still the one I want but as they’re all over 20 year old bikes now it puts me off a bit , but I love it. Maybe if I could find one of the later ones with really low mileage lol 🤦🏻♂️
I don’t understand what’s scaring you away from it? The safety margin with which they were made at the beginning of the millennium will last longer than fresh plastic models. I ride it myself and I know what I’m talking about. Look not for the year, but for the low mileage
@@Viorg4 yeah I love the look of this bike..it probably is more for the fact you’re buying a 20 plus year old bike, keep debating between one of these and a late XJR 1300 but in my heart I really like this.
