Fantastic! All the plastics I print using Prusa PCBlend, which has give for impact resistance, and great layer adhesion, even with the thin/lightweight replica arms of the RC10'91, I've only broken one rear and one front arm from big crashes after a ~year+ of racing it. I also use the same material, but with a more solid/tougher design for my new retro-mod buggy (retro rear motor conversion for B6.3/4 parts that I raced at the National Titles over the last weekend and it's strong with no breakages! Maybe I need to drive it harder ;-)

Yes it's very cool layout. After end of straight the loop and line into the "quads" is very tricky to get nailed, and the subsequent little mound jump coming back towards the drivers' stand is tricky to get the landing in the right area! The rest is 'normal'...so it's a good combo of many aspects of an off-road track for sure :)

Yes correct, the MP4 inspired ~late 80's inspired design is in progress...usually takes me longer than hoped, but my target is ~late 2025 :-) It's going to be epic! So many learnings are going into it, with printed and carbon hybrid construction with stronger steering and suspension to make it more durable and raceable :-D

Lots! The general rule for the vintage class is pins on the rear and ribs up front. Depending on the track condition I think lots of people run the Holeshots, Sweeps Square Armour or various JConcepts like Sprinter or Double Dees also...

Might hit up Brett and try the square armour.

Nothing broken! A few roll overs and tangles with other cars too. Was quietly confident with strength based on experience of the materials/parts with the '89, but the '91 arms are more spindly and other parts are thin too, but the uber awesome PCBlend performed brilliantly with enough flex and great layer adhesion :-)

Yes correct, will be same carbon/white plastics etc as per the current RC10GX '89 kit 🙂 This 'orange'/fibreglass top deck etc is our first working prototype of the new '91 version, so using other materials/colours/scrap etc so we do not waste stock of the "final/proper" materials/colours during the development and refinement process!!
