Channell Homestead
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 10 ก.ค. 2020
We are the Channell Family and we bought our home in Hanson, MA in 2014 and had visions of a having our own farm someday. Not too long after settling in the house, we acquired a chicken coop and bought our first chickens!. Soon after that, we added a few ducks, some turkeys, a few geese and rabbits! We now have a fully operational homestead. We want to educate and show people that you can live near a big city and still accomplish the dreams of having a fully functional farm.
I hope you enjoy our page any can relax watching the animals and learn a few things along the way. Feel free to check out our farm page and we thank you so much for supporting our Family Farm.
Sincerely,
Matt,Christanie, and Hunter Channell

Would love recipe!
Can you use essential oils with your goats milk lotion?
Nice ❤❤❤❤❤
Can you pasteurize immediately after milking since the milk will already be partially warmed up? Or is it better to completely cool it down first, then pasteurize later from cold?
Do you milk daily ♥️
Do you drink the milk? I’ve never tried our goat milk…
Is there a way to purchase goats milk ? I know it spoils quickly unless frozen , does powdered hits milk work too? I’d really love to start making some . Thank you for sharing :)
There is a guy who tests powered goat's milk and straight from the goat and he says it tastes and works exactly the same 👍
I can’t wait!!
Very cool!! Have you had any trouble with theft? I love this idea!!
Plz not good cameraman
Can we have full recipe?
Awe none of this is a fail. Bees are angry in the fall and honey flows slow in the cold. Just facts of life. Do you all still keep bees? First year keeper here.
I think you have 1 polled and one not! Congrats!
Came across this video while looking for farmstand idea's. Looks like an awesome setup. Keep up the good work.
Looks like a great machine
I can’t say enough about simple pulse!! So worth the investment!!
do you sell this type of pumping/sucking device, or a link to the product please,, Thank you
I do not sell them, their website is Www.simplepulse.com
The Goat is not protesting as I have seen with other methods...
Ya my goats are great when I milk them with it. It is a great machine!!
You two are amazing with all the productions you have been working to master. I can certainly appreciate the effort to. Make as clean a product as possible given the challenges of access and I’m sure the information that becomes available over time. Say if you have some clean sheeps wool it can be used as packing around the bottles that might get too cold otherwise and keep the fats from solidifying and separating from other ingredients including essential oils. Kudos as your market is growing. Nice work!
Cold packs in cold water, work very well for cooling milk and saves on the ice cubes too.
Pls reply i like

Precious.
I’m allergic to nuts. Do you make without almond oils?
Is it only for eating or topical too? Yes there is almond oil. Maybe check with your dr first!

Cool!!!!!
can you put the formulation^ nice video
We don’t share our custom recipes sorry!
Hey nice work !!!...Is it must that,we have to do pasteurization of milk and begin the process ? Or can we just add the fresh goat milk...
Yes, good question you need to pasteurize it to kill the bacteria in the milk so that way it does not grow mold and you also need a preservative in it because you are using milk so it doesn’t go bad right away.
So cool
Sending Lots of love from the @carnalicrew ❤️👋

@@channellhomestead1782 oh sorry
great job! what brand of goat milk did you use? and where can i get same brand. Also can i use sodium lactate as my preservative?
Hi Lilian! Our goat milk is from our own goats if you watch our pasteurizing goat milk video you will see that it’s our own goats milk that is raw from milking them and we pasteurize it before using to make lotion! We use optiphen for preservative.
Wow that's so cool. I always wondered how you candle eggs.
