For a split second I thought I was looking at a discovery with that roof tent
TOP!!!!! 👌
I've got a ford ranger limited 3.2 with 20 inch alloys etc but no diff locks yet. Any advice or should I wait to join till I get them fitted
Diff locks are an advantage, but plenty of people drive our course with out them. A good set of aggressive AT or MT tyres will give you just as much fun.
@@nigelsim18 I've got a set of renegade rts still pretty much brand new
Nice
Looks like you're going to be there for a minute
like a Russian UAZ😂❤
Might be time to swap to the box with the diff lock 13mm
Menudo bicho ..
Love it
It's ironic. 99 percent of Defender owners are city-dwellers and will NEVER take their Defenders out of the city. or off the pavement. :)) Still, AI guess it's nice to know your SUV "CAN DO" even though you'll NEVER.... Having said that I hope to seethe SV version...i'd think Land Rover has it in the works....kind of dumb not to since there is already a Range Rover Sport SV and a ARsang Rover SV introduced for 2024.... Love the clasic iconic looks of the Defender. Nice mix/balance of "off-road availy/looks with enough luxury" as this SUV (as I said) will be for most only city driven.
In which mode are you
How do i join in one of these groups? I'm swapping my 2.2 ranger for a raptor soon. i would love to take it off road when i get it
Hi Ian, by all means come and join us when you're ready. We actually have another Ranger booked to drive the course on November 11th at 1pm if you want to join them? Simply book on our website dalton4x4offroad.com
Mate you will love the Raptor, mine is the first gen in the video, the course really shows you how capable it is and the folks at Dalton are experts.
Thanks for having us. Some of the trucks are still muddy!
Pleasure to meet a great bunch of people. Yes, it was quite a muddy weekend!
Music video?
Why not plowing in the field?
Lol, our off road course doesn't include ploughing fields. Maybe that is something we should think about adding! 👍😂

Thats deep mud. Wow😮
Waiting patiently for mine to arrive in June 😊
You'll love it!
thanks for the comments which TR mode you were using and the other hints. I guess the entire time you were using mud%ruts ?
On the new Defender you actually have to use a range of different offroad modes for different parts of the course. Some areas need grass/gravel/snow, others mud ruts, some rock climb with offroad cameras. On some of the steep rutted climbs where wheelspin is needed, we use sand mode and advise turning traction control off to stop the vehicle cutting out the power half way up the climb.
nice...hope you will produce some more of these vidoes 🙂
Yes, for sure there will be more, have you seen the videos on our Insta?
@@nigelsim18 sorry mate, don't have Insta :-), but honestly I love your LR videos how you drive them off-road. Just like what the cars are built for. Your drove them intelligent. Would be good to know as well which TerrainMode were chosen and or low gear, hi gear, in manual or D....just some more Infos. Anything if HOLD is disturbing or not for my interest :-), any ATPC action...thanks :-)
I am talking about L663, of course 🙂
nice video
Thanks!
Great vid buddy! 👌🏼
Cheers fella!
