The coolest thing about the tag line is that you'd easily miss it as a another witty one liner to eloquently say "f*** you Briggs". However every other time it's mentioned it gradually gets more and more meaningful. Harry might be a rough cop, but he only makes jabs at people like him when he feels like they aren't being real with him. It's kind of like having someone fresh at work getting a bit pissed at an older guy whose been there longer whose lost any semblance of restraint in saying exactly how they feel. They have enough time there to have stakes in what they do and maybe even have luggage they carry, yet no matter how bitter they get they are still there. They have values that have proven to be correct and they take life as it is, the good and the bad. Briggs might have been there longer in terms of time, but he wasn't living it like Harry was. You can say allot of things about Harry, but he is not apathetic or egotistical.
