I saw another video, with these instructions as well, I went and tried to fix it myself, I did record it as well, It did not work for me, mine was not loose. It was tight as can get, I loosed it and then tightened it back up, still did not work. Any other suggestions. feel free to check my video to see if I did something wrong.

Thanks, just did mine. Make sure you get all the old clips out B4 setting in the new piece. I had 2 broken clip areas but it still went in OK. Also keep the rubber seal piece (very front lip) off your old one, you need to reinstall on this unit.

So if I have a base model LS Tahoe. I can just buy the power folding side mirrors with the turn signals and buy both switches and its just plug and play? I have ones im going to buy from a local junk yard. But I was told I need an extra harness in the dash or something to be able to use the power folding and turn signals. Is that true? Thanks

My lights in my 07 tahoe are super dim in the air control can that be fixed or replaced? I can barely see the numbers when changing the temperature

I have a question not about the gas cap but the gas flap that has fell down inside of the tube is will it stop gas from pumping and then have to stop pumping the gas and restart

My problem is not that it won't open it will not lock or it's making noise when it's closed and my inside lights won't go off

While they will certainly tighten up, mine loosen up considerably after 2-3 times going up and down. I think I’ll get a split ring washer to throw in there to keep some tension on it

Thanks for video... I was curious if it was possible to popout the buttons without removing/disassembling the control module, but it looks like you need to remove the faceplate and pop them out from the backside.

I was hoping for a solution but mine is having a totally different problem. My latch will not “lock” so my hatch or lift gate, stays unlocked and never fully closed. 2009 suburban

I think my issue is related to the first one. My switch doesn't click into place when press it. Does that mean the switch is no good?

Only issue I am having with my 2013 is a popping sound when my liftgate is opening. I was wondering if it could be a hinge bushing issue? maybe a slight mis-alignment issue? or maybe I just need to replace the support shocks? Any one experience this "popping" noise as the lift gate is coming up?

You should have just added a factory USB port that connects to your radio so you can connect your phone and play music off of it instead of using a shitty aux cable. Keeps your phone charged while you play music. SMH.

Mine every time I open it it slams it self shut hard and the motor makes a noise and when I shut it off the an try manually it’ feels impossible to lift an would not stay up

I cannot believe it took until 1:45 of the video for him to tell me what the issue was. Never knew that button existed. Thank you so much for this.
