Slate Roof - How To Mark The Roof Surface Before Laying Slate
In this tutorial we show the principle of spreading the slate evenly across the width of the roof by varying the width of the gaps between the slates.
The slate surface can be stretched and compressed like an accordion. Thus, you can harmoniously fill the roof area even if there is a difference in the geometric dimensions of the surface.
Apply this principle and you will avoid unwanted trimming around the edges, save time and do less unnecessary work, and the result will be simply amazing.

Yeahh no. That is like saying "sweing a dress is simple.. it is just a matter getting frabric, cutting the pieces and sweing them together!" There is alot more to that, as every stone is different and you need years of experience and practice and ears to actually do it correctly. There is a reason why it is considered the master class in germany with a long school education attached to it.
