This was a badly written bit for the two of them. One of the times, I'm guessing, that GM was especially happy he wore the shades. He is so much funnier than the stupid lines they gave him and her. Always love his gorgeous smile though - ❤

It's good to hear this track being re-done for a more modern audience...it's got more "soul" to it...I was never a Wham fan neither a George fan...but this is pretty good.

The media killed him not the drug

It really looks very primitive what they were doing even though it was quite cutting edge 30 years ago - but, compared to now - with youtube, social media, etc - it is a reminder how far all the tech has come in a relatively short amount of time. He was always so far ahead of others in his medium - in every way. Media hated him because he wouldn't cower under their threats, he called them out clearly often and loudly, they always felt they could silence him by hounding him, making up lies about him - He just did not give them an ounce of what they wanted from him - I so much admired him for it all including his lawsuit against his record company. All other musicians kept their mouths shut during the court case even while being supportive behind the scenes for what he was trying to do that would have helped all musicians. They were just a bunch of cowards. Except, as ever, for him.

His back up singers were with him back in the early 90s - they stuck with him - understandably. He never stopped being utterly amazing. I think it really was the best Wham! song that he wrote (and, he wrote them all) but this one just stands the test of time and I listen to it constantly when working out - it just makes you move. And, it is his favorite....

I related, I’m creative but I’m crazy and depressed. I have adhd, severe depression and anxiety and possible ptsd, doc said I have it and I’m too scared to get tested. I smoke weed as soon as I get out the shower in the morning. Yesterday I woke up at 2:30am smoked like 2 grams, pulled an 8 hour shift at Walmart, smoked more on my lunch break. Soon as I got off I had to go to my second job and hotboxed on the way to my job. Worked like 4 and a half hours, got home at 5:30 and smoked weed and drank beer till like 9 or 10 just bumping music and playing video games same as tonight. You got to be an insane person to do some shit like that. I sleep an average of 5 hours a night and have been for over a year now if I didn’t smoke weed I’d be a pissed off bad attitude asshole nobody liked. I drink and smoke to keep me sane and likeable for the people around me. When I’m sober I think I’m better than everyone and I’m too important to even talk to you. I don’t have the time for anyone but myself. When I’m 4 beers deep and a couple bong hits I’ll just go talk to my mom about how our days were. Sober I’m just antisocial locked in my room glued to the tv if I’m not working and if you make me come out the room I’m gonna be pissed

For some reason, as an artist, George sticks out in my mind even to this day, May 19th, 2024. No doubt one of a kind. We're lucky to have grown up with his music. It was fun and energetic. Thank you George and God Bless you, your little sister and your family.
