New Brunswick Scientific Company was founded many years ago by the late Dave Freedman and his brother Zigmund. They moved to a shop near New Brunswick NJ at Somerset. The Freedman's had been neighbors of ours in Highland Park and I was hired to work at their plant in the stock room during my summers while attending college during the early 1970s. I would carpool with their son Samuel, who later became a well-known author. Great experiences there well remembered. At my Dad's funeral in 1991, the last one at the cemetery was Dave Freedman, I asked why he was still there and said that he had attended New Brunswick High School, graduating with my Dad, Jay, in 1939. Now that was a real touching story!
