Poor Jonesy... Someone needs to break it to him that the Queen Mary stopped sailing in 1967, and the Queen Elizabeth 2 gave up the ghost in 2008.
Imagine having Steve Jones' legacy, but not being arsed to start something as simple as a weekly podcast. Lazy sod.
Neurotic outsiders brought me here. Love steve Jones
She is so nauseating....painful to listen to? Well done Jonesy 👏
Christ, she don’t half go on!
Fear the band did a song about her.......guess
This woman is the stereotypical American self-obsessed showbiz bore
This is Great Therapy for them both Chatting like this is great
Jonesy is in Jukebox mode & interviewing her. Funny
He said he created this sound, EDM and rock guitar. I know I have heard this sound before long, long before.
The ORIGINAL Jonesys Jukebox was absolutely phenomenal! Especially with the producer Shovel on air with Steve. That show was amazing!!!
I love Steve Jones, I think he'd be an amazing guy just hang out with. By rights given his background he should have died years ago in prison. But he played guitar in one of the best bands ever while he was essentially a beginner. Then went on to a long career as a musician and as if that wasn't enough become a hugley successful DJ.
WTF wants to play the same songs over and over? As a lifetime musician, it would be my worst nightmare to feel like I had to play the same set, the same way, over and over.TBH, I rarely enjoy those kind of shows ; and I kind of despise the herd mentality that usually goes along with the nostalgia and identity mindsets. The last thing I want to see is some greatest hits tour for a band that hasnt been a band, or put out new material , in years. A good live show has to be spontaneous and the musicians and audience need to be fully present and engaged.I fully understand Steve's feelings about touring as part of a cash chuck wagon; once you outgrow the desire to be the Rock Star figure, the exchange with the audience needs to be a little deeper. You see a lot of social media BS about relationships, and what's good or bad; the truth is that lust doesn't last and was never meant to.Sex evolves into something different, or it turns into a meaningless chore. If you're lucky, that evolution is a long process.
That was so much fun, what a great podcast.
Thought it was an interview with Jonesy, but it's not.
I always get annoyed when the media and even themselves would say that they were bad players. Cook was a fine drummer. Glen was a quality bass player and could write a song and Jones was a cracking guitarist
It was a double bluff, they were touted as the band who couldn't paly their instruments who actually could play their instruments.
Jonesy was definitely a beginner guitar player when he was with the sex pistols. He's really good now though.
Would liked to of heard more from Steve instead of the 'journalist' going on and on about herself the whole time
More a chat than an interview Just what Steve likes & how he did his old radio show worse thing you can do with someone like Steve is do an interview
Its like Therapy for them both
I just found you today with the Shinedown talk and then watched this post, you do look amazing for 51 and your dad was blasting in my garage my whole young life. The talking about ghost and the afterlife would be cool to see and hear what guest you would bring on. How did you find out about the vitamin dificiency? can you talk about that?
K, here goes.. his les paul (white turned yellow from bar smoke and pinup sticker behind bridge) fender deluxe reverb that supposedly "fell" off of Bob Marley's gear truck when doing the unending crunching veriosity has absolutely no decay whatsoever.. long sex pistols, ex pistols, fat & forty, etc.. sfo bye hello guitar heaven
The Disney Money PisToLs 💰 God save Johnny Rotten .. !!
A very enjoyable chat to watch/listen to 👍
I wish he would have taken that bag off...Ayes Rock is now called Ulladulla. I'm Australian. Shame this woman wasn't interested in interviewing Jonesy.
What planet are you on?....Ayers Rock is in the desert and Ulladulla is a coastal town about 2,500 Miles away!! lololol
@@mjh5437 Uluṟu is what I meant to say. I’m from Planet Australia.. we’re nice…🤟🏻 You should give it a try.
She to Jonsey ratio of words? 100:1. At least. Bird full of rabbit. Give it a rest, love. Doing me Woolich Piesr right in.
This is just Jonesy listening to her 😂
I drive around southern Spain playing these 40 odd Jonesy shows from indie 103 days.. the best! Please get it going again 👍👍👍 + freedom to play & say what he likes
Love Jonsey Horribly annoying interviewer
I like Steve Jones, especially after reading his book 'lonely boy'. He's come through alot and done well for himself. Old school Londeners are a rarer and rarer breed these days.
I recently red it myself nedore I went to the Birmingham gig with Frank carter , one of best but saddest book around , people need to read it realize what e been through 😢 , well done Steve 👏
I love all the English terms I would look up all the time especially we have to pay the Duke
This legend is why I started playing guitar. Me and millions of others.
Millions have tried to sound like him, none have succeeded.
This dude is probably the reason I ended up being a musician. They took all the fear out of learning music for me. No OCPD music teacher for me. I had Punk rock etc. Now I play all sorts of stuff. I miss Jonsey's Jukebox.
Damn i Miss Jonesy jukebox. Big Comfort show.
Damn i Miss Jonesy jukebox. Big Comfort show.
got the impression that Steve is not that happy about life. When he talks about living alone and people wouldn't know if he'd left us suggests loneliness. His enthusiasm for life is not there in abundance, I know he spoke about diabetes and a one time heart attack but I felt when watching him a wish within myself to uplift him in some way.I felt that the lady interviewer did talk a lot but kept him buoyant for the 30 minutes I watched
He`s a miserable depressed bore....that`s what AA will do to you.
Dreamgirl, sensible, driven and a sense of humor.
That`s strange,everyone else thinks she`s a nightmare...Maybe you are too.
I love Steve's guitar playing. He's like a musical locomotive. Great timing.
Reactionary posers. Very cute in their fashionable attires, nothing more than fashion puppetts
What the f**k are you talking about?
Are we not mentioning the QE II isnt short for the Queen Mary!?😂 Love Jonsey though!
The QE2 is The Queen Elizabeth not The Queen Mary. The big clue is in the E that's between the Q and the 2. If it was The Queen Mary it would be the QM2 - but there is no such ship.
Jonsey’s Podcast????? 1-2-3-Do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She rabbits on endlessly and Jonesie barely had a chance to say anything . Who is she anyway ?
She`s a self-obsessed bore with verbal diarrhoea..
He looks cracked tf out
I don't think that the interviewer totally gets Steve's sense of humour.
West London to his boots.
This is very healing.
He looks like a skeleton
Steve's thinking, get your knickers off.
Very important lesson to learn from Kerri, don`t get shots "just in case" Seems like the medical profession might not be so good for our health after all.
Can listen to Jonesy for hours
I could listen to Steve all day long, so laid back as he gets older
Rock on,Jonesy !
you can tell an Englishman we know a weather forecast
