And it doesnt matter if the semi is doing the speed limit or if it is doing 100mph they will still do everything they possibly can to get in front of that truck no matter the cost or risk of it!!!!! And then they just slow down and slam on the brakes just to turn!!!!! But over there dead body will they make that turn behind the truck instead of making the truck do a emergency panic stop and put everybody on the road at risk of being in a accident with that truck if the truckdriver loses control!!!! If i ever have a doctor tell me i only have a month or 2 to live........ well im not gonna finish that sentence but im sure you can figure it out on your own. LOL!!!

I watched several times and I still am not sure if she did it intentionally or just a really incompetent idiot. Either way, definitely her fault. And to the guy that accused you of swerving, it's probably just an optical illusion caused by the right hand line being curved .

I also post bad driving behavior on youtube. However, my footage is usually reported to authorities before it's uploaded. We can complain and post and record all day long. That is not reducing the number of incidents. The footage needs to be given to lawyers so that it can be filed against the companies who employ dangerous drivers. Bad Drivers and being pumped out of the training like a flood, and whatever method is used to prevent that from happening is failing. So, lets turn off the faucet off dangerous drivers and make the roads safe. Lets take this footage to court and shut down the employers pumping out unprofessional and dangers drivers into traffic.

Of course he didn't see the van.its called a blind spot for a reason.the camera taking the video is at the top of the trucks windshield.from the drivers viewpoint he would have seen the van.hence that's why it's called a blind spot

Not intentional just not paying attention and a panic instead of slowing down and stopping in the turn lane. Idiots!

The driver of the minivan is at fault in this accident. Watching the minivan in the mirror tells the story, it was in a designated right turn lane and actually trying to overtake the truck, when the minivan driver ran out of road they turned into the side of the truck instead of turning. The truck appears to be holding a constant speed and remains in its lane until pulling onto the shoulder after the accident. It is reasonable for any driver to assume that another vehicle in a designated turn lane will be turning even if that vehicle is speeding up (lots of poor drivers always seem to be in a hurry. Was this accident avoidable? Yes but only for the driver of the minivan, for the truck driver it wasn't since it appears to be an intentional act by the driver of the minivan.

It's very possible she was trying yo pass and realized she was running out of room and panicked, but at the same time why pass on the shoulder. It definitely could be intentional.

So the van driver didn't see the merge sign and the truck was well ahead of the van so merging infront of the truck was no longer an option but the van driver instead of forcing his or her way into the lane could have simply turned off at the right turn lane and rejoined the road way when it was safe to do so. What was the truck driver supposed to do, go into the next lane and cause and accident because there is no way the truck could have braked and slowed enough for the can to get infront. Careless van driver either not paying attention to road signs which is most likely the case and still could have avoided this collision by turning off in the right lane exit.
