Yeah you can go look for gold in areas but you got to make sure that nobody owns that claim you don't want to stumble on to somebody else's paid claim but if it's a local area you can go anywhere a local area from here in San Diego I like to go to the San Gabriel River East fork it's a local area for us prospectors to go and it's a gold-bearing area it has a lot of good history and there's about five mines on that stretch of river too

Or you can join a local club the SPMA is Southern California in Arizona only I like that club because it's only $55 a month or so another great clip for all 50 states is the GPAA

I'm also in the southwest prospecting mining association the spma it handles Southern California from basically San Diego up to ransburg and then over into Arizona a bit that's a great club to get into 55 for the whole year

I would say I can meet you up tomorrow we can go out but I got to take my kid to the dentist so I'm not going to be able to go out until maybe Sunday

@Cooper Ventures Yeah, the Kern River is so high, it's flowing in some places I thought it'd NEVER reach again. Let me/us know about the June/July timeframe and I'll try to get those days offa' work! Lol I'm due for another adventure. 😅

Two weeks ago no you can't walk across. Without a rope even then it's risky if your Waiters overfill you'll sink

But when I can walk across the river four times easily like usual you'll see me 4 miles in that's where the good gold is people don't want to hike gear in that far unless they're staying the weekend

You can make it across the river now in some spots is only ankle deep the water receded back to its normal level

I was able to walk across with just my water shoes on now dude the waters back down even after this so-called tsunami last weekend still good to go I'm able to hike miles in and cross multiple times😊

Yeah its awesome it's better than my dream mate sluice the gold rat
