Hmmm,Stuttgart has about 600000 resident for many years now (statistics www.stuttgart.de/service/statistik-und-wahlen/stuttgart-in-zahlen.php) but Munich has ~1,5M and growing (statistics stadt.muenchen.de/infos/statistik-bevoelkerung.html) I know abuut the dying of the City center everywhere. @travelingpuma Oktoberfest has the largest beer festival I've ever seen. I'm not interested in that, I'm only interested in the rides because it's the rides that are the reason I visit carnivals, and this one has a few rides I have seen before
