This games drop rates are so brutal I did 80 rolls and not a single character

Literally the only change I made was trade evolutions and now every evolution is Abra. Pidgey->Abra. Quilava->Abra. Gastly->Abra. Been looking everywhere for a fix or help and can't figure it out. And if you edited a ROM and renamed it, then loaded that ROM, wouldn't it show you all the changes that were saved previously?
