I was there. The festival was sold out when they were announced and I didn't have tickets but I live next door. Because I had to see them I found a way. Not going to say how ;)

I was in that crowd just behind you to your right. I've been to a ton of shows in the pit, but for some reason this one was the craziest - you couldn't move and were just at the mercy of the crowd and where they were moving. This show, is by far, the most intense workout I've ever had in my life just trying to stay on two feet. What people might not understand from the footage is if you were in a bad/rough spot you couldn't leave. There was an incredible wall of pressure coming from the back pushing forward - you couldn't leave. I've never been in a pit show like that before, there's always a way out either through the sides, or at worst pushing hard to get to the barrier and pulled out by security - but these small spots were inescapable due to the pressure from all sides - the back pushing to get up, the front pushing back to get breathing room and the sides locked up hard trying to get their footing. Best you could do was hold both sides of the boat and weather the storm. At one point, the best way I can describe it, the crowd jumped shoulder to shoulder and I went up and then I got 'double bounced' to the ground. Hard. The crowd started falling on top of me and for a moment I thought this was the end. In the middle of the panic, a man I will describe for the rest of my life as Rock Festival Jesus reached his arm down and pulled me right back up, looked a panicked me in the eyes, grinned at me and shouted "HEEEEEEEYYYYYY!!!!" and all was well in my world again. What happened was similar to 7:30 except instead of between songs it was right in the middle of, I believe, The Kids Aren't Alright. Great show. Thank you Rock Festival Jesus.

I can't even explain the amount of respect towards them and especially Dexter because he just rocks so hard and seems like he puts soo much effort into what he does and it seems like he really loves what he does.

Me acuerdo cuando salió un pedacito chiquitito en el diario que venían, yo ya tenía el Ixnay en cd original y era el único album que conocía entero con algunas canciones del Smash por separado en algunas canciones (las más conocidas obvio), pasaron los días y mi papá me fue a buscar al liceo y yo no cachaba por que, cuando me dijo que íbamos a Santiago a ver a mi banda favorita en ese momento casi me cago, ni siquiera los conocía porque ni llegaba el cable en Cauquenes, cuando llegué al Monumental de esa época, habían puros punkies con las medias mohicas, bototos y con pelo largo pensé que era casi una banda metal jajaajajaja, más encima era chico y ni cagando nos íbamos a poner en la cancha con todo el mosh, así que amablemente nos dejaron en palco con los fotógrafos y los periodistas, una noche inolvidable, gracias a mi viejito que aperró como siempre ... lleven a sus hijos a conciertos, sera un regalo que jamás olvidaran.
