Fernanda Torres! I'm still here!
Greetings from Brazil
Fernanda torres ❤️ e do Brazil 🎉
Apologies for getting this video up so late! I truly underestimated how much time it would take to edit this one! I also completely rushed all the graphics and didn't take a second look for typos. So apologies to Felicity Jones from "The Britalist", Isabella Rossellini who I don't think goes by Isabelle, and any other typos you catch!

@@traydaniel0403 kind of refreshing to see someone on the internet actually rooting for Emilia Perez for a change!
Will you make a top 10 2024 movies video?
@@arindamchatterjee8983 yes! It’ll be one of the next couple videos I upload. I pushed it off a bit to try and catch a couple of the films I’d missed.
@@arindamchatterjee8983 I finally uploaded the Top 10 video! Had to get through the big Oscar week first.
Fernanda Torres totalmente premiada.🤩🤩🤩
I still don’t understand WHY everyone is having such a hard time with Daniel Craig? He was always getting in.
How come Fernanda Torres , the Folden Globe winner for best female actor was not even indicated.. weird SAG 😅😅😅😅
Some how, we are still judging Pamela Anderson, but the truth is that she did one of the best performances this year for The last Showgirl. In fact , she is my favorite this year next to Demi. 😊
Fernanda TORRES OSCAR QUEEN
Thank you for your words about Fernanda
hoping for Grande to shake up the race and win. she's being overlooked after the Globes even tho emilia perez was predicted to sweep with international voters..
Fernanda Torres is the best in that list by far
26:30 - What a surprise that an American didn't watch a movie not in English! That's an amazing movie and acting job from Fernanda.
Hasn’t been released here yet, but I’m definitely going to check it out when it is
Its because that guys dont conseguem falar nem a língua deles direito, imagina leer un subtítulo mientras ves una película. Es muy difícil para él.

Fernanda is incredible in "I'm still here".
The beautiful Fernanda Torres managed to win the Golden Globes with an impeccable film and a breathtaking performance, I'm still here is a phenomenal film that deserves all the recognition possible❤
@@leumasgame7810 I can’t wait to check it out!
Go watch I'm Still Here as soon as possible. Fernanda Torres is undoubtedly one of the best. It’s no surprise she won, and Eunice Paiva’s story is truly unique. What an incredible woman! Sad for Mikey Madison in her category-I hope she can win some of the upcoming awards. And what a fantastic day for the outstanding Demi Moore!
January 17th in US theaters

@@tw.dg_lis3165 thank you!
pretty sure Dune is gonna clean up this year. they knocked it out of the park on every front
Trying to think when the best film of the year won Best Film Oscar in the last decade and I can''t
We better get some better animated movies because that roster is looking shaky😬
@@urboys2154 I’ve heard some great things about The Wild Robot, so there’s definitely some better films on the horizon! Admittedly I’m also not the best at seeing a lot of animated movies, so there’s most likely already some better animated films released this year that I just haven’t seen yet.
The record for most Oscar nominations is 14, and the record for most Oscar wins is 11. Do you see Dune 2 beating any of these records?
I haven’t looked too closely at what’s predicted to be nominated yet, but my gut reaction is no to both. Those are some really high numbers and I don’t know if Dune will have that kind of momentum come nomination season.
It's been a bad year for cinema so far. Although I respect your opinion, I think you are being way too mainstream with these nominations. Like those nominations to Jackman, Zendaya, Ferguson, Bardem, Chalamet, Smith, Powell are never happening. Nor should they. They are not bad, but there are many non-blockbuster films which have way better performances, scripts, costumes or others than these blockbuster films. They might not be great in all aspects at the same time, but should get their flowers in certain categories. We'll have to wait to see all the films this year and not even I have seen all the films released so far. But with the films I have seen until today of this year, I wouldn't agree with you in more than 15 of these nominations.
chalamet will get nominated for a different film and zendaya could be nominated but probs not.
@@r.c.c.10 I’ll most likely do a video around nomination time that’s purely what I would nominate. Because I agree, this exercise definitely skews it to more of the popular films.
If civill war got best picture nom then deadpool 3 should also get a nom for picture and director
😂😂 I don't think either deserves it but Deadpool 3 was not even a good film in my opinion.
@@r.c.c.10 in your oppinion but in 99% if others it is great. And kind of kindness is the worst film and it is still at the oscars so as napoleon last year
@@Grand_Master12312 Napoleon wasn't a very good film but it definetely deserved nominations for Production Design, Costume Design and Special Effects. I would even argue for Supporting actress and Soundtrack. When discussing nominations the quality of the film as a whole shouldn't be take into account, nor how succesful they've been on the box office, but the inherent quality of the film in the aspect of each particular nomination.
@@r.c.c.10 agree but captain america civil war didn't get any oscars but it deserves many
Even multiverse of mafness should get 4 or 5 noms
Deadpool and wopverine should get a nomination for costumes and score, supporting actor, production design, visuals, film editing, sound
definitely not supporting actor
@@rat-x7x well he did act really great
@@Grand_Master12312 i will bet you a million dollares he wont get nominated
Challengers was disappointing. The only good elements were the male leads, the score, and Zendaya's ass.

After uploading the video I realized I should have said I haven't been able to see Sing Sing or Didi yet! I know those two would have been pushing double digit nominations. I've heard of Babes, but haven't seen it yet. I also don't think I've heard of Parachute or The Sweet East, so I'll have to track those down!
I enjoyed this video. Thank you. Amazing commitment to watch it all.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
loved the vid
Thank you!
I definitely recommend watching the "Dollars Trilogy" - _A Fistful of Dollars_ and _For a Few Dollars More_ and then this one again - as a triple-feature.
Honestly that’s a super fun idea if I can find a day to watch all three!
Keep doing what you’re doing man you’re very thorough and you get your points across well and I feel like this was a very respectable list very well thought out glad you put memento so high on your list definitely my personal favorite and it was one of the last ones I watch in his discography so it’s definitely not just nostalgia it’s just a straight banger 🤯🤯
Thanks! I really appreciate that! I’m glad you like Memento as well! I could see that being more polarizing in terms of ranking his filmography, but I love it.
I'd recommend watching Siccario it's often considered a sister film to No Country for Old Men because they share a cinematographer, Josh Brolin and setting. It's by DV and is a wierd and unsettling film that deliberately obscurifies the plot for its audience.
I've heard a lot of great things about Sicario and have wanted to check it out for a while since I love Daniel Kaluuya. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll add it to my list!
You should see Paris Texas and or watch Fargo if you want to see another coen brothers film that I think blends their style of comedy and drama masterfully
I was really close to picking Fargo over No Country, so I'll definitely check it out! And I think I've heard of Paris Texas, but don't know anything other than the name so that would be a fun one to go into blind!
You really can’t go wrong with either truly 🙏🏻 i just saw Paris Texas not to long ago and I also knew nothing going into it and it completely blew me away it immediately became one of my favorite films I’ve ever seen in my life and Fargo is a close second to no country when it comes to the coen brothers films it really is a must see🔥🔥
GBU is best film ever, and best use of music score, ever. Also: is the highest-rated film on IMDB (International Movie Data Base) to have zero Academy Award nominations. And don't overlook Once Upon a Time in the West or For a Few Dollars More.
That's a really cool fact! That would be a fun list to dive into because I can't even think of what else would be up there. The Shining maybe?
Very respectful and nice recap! I was happy with Oscar results. I would have been upset if Emma Stone would not win as her performance was huge.
Thank you! Yeah her win was great! She's always been an actress I've loved, but she's clearly cemented now as one of the most important actors of this generation!
Obviously didn't mean to add Supporting Actress to Oppenheimer on the win tally graphic at the end of the video. Just ignore that and the rest of the graphic is correct!
Bradley Cooper should have won for A Star is Born. My issue with Maestro was his voice, it may have been true to the character, but it was so irritating I couldn’t watch all of the movie. Also, he won’t ever win song as that award goes to the song writer.
Lily Gladstone wins no doubt
I’m definitely leaning that way, but I wish I had your confidence cause it still feels so close to me!
Faszt.
Thanks for highlighting the shorts.
For sure! The shorts get dismissed a lot, but often times some of my favorite nominated films each year are in the shorts categories, so I look forward to seeing them every year!
