Me and my buddies would pop ACID and trip out on pink floyd
You run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking. Who writes these lyrics?? So deep. So beautiful. So true.
Yea man, that's the real deal right there.
Not first time. Thousand times😊
I'm glad one of us is having fun.....
Dark side of the moon album was made in the way that you have to start listening from the first track to the last one , because every song is conected to the next one , AND life is to short that you don't have to leave for tomorrow what you can do today because tomorrow maybe is too late. FOR EXAMPLE tell to the people you love how much you love them , because maybe one they you passed away or them passed away and you missed the starting gun like in the song.
I've been listening to them since i was 10...now 62,...you totally get it..yours was the best reaction i've seen yet...thanks man!!
The stage was dark at this time
I like the volume you have it at, that's how we listened to it in the seventies, an older brother's Marantz stereo or what the they called Quadrophonic headphones....you only have two ears, but we heard it!!
I was 12 when I first heard this album, mind blowingly good ... 🥰
I truly think this solo is the most moving piece of music ever. Brilliant
The most true quote ever spoken. Shorter of breath, one day closer to death!!! Live ur life to fullest my friends!!!!! Can be over in blink of an eye people
Interesting. This reaction video was 5 years ago and you were 25. Now you are 30. Have you gotten anywhere?
I was stranded in a wildetness snow snow for many days in a vw van. I played this cd every time i darned start ot for heat. Richard Darner
More profound as you get 30 yrs behind mate, great reaction mate
Time is relative. If you dont understand what that means..this song will lost on you😢❤
The song came out when I was 18. I’m now 68. That was 50 years ago. The song came to fruition and it’s like omI lived the song. Wonder what I’ll think when I’m 88. This is a masterpiece!
The audio of the video you chose is awful. Sounds slightly pitched up too. Listen to the album
!!!
Great and true reaction! 😊
Listen to comfortable numb
So Jacob, another 6 years got behind you... ;) Love that song too!
Floyd Masters of music, words, vocals combine to tell deep truths that are part of living experience. No band ever did what they did. I've spent many a day in my youth listening to them when this album came out and still stands up over my life time. Incredible band! Waters and Gilmore the best
Pink Floyd is my favorite band and Time is the one I love the most. Listen to Shine on you Crazy Diamond; there's 12 minutes of music before you hear singing. Mind blown. Welcome to Pink Floyd, they changed my life and their music saw me through some pretty dark days.
You are a hero Cal, great - best to you man!
Everything about this classic is awe inspiring! From the dramatic beginning, through the beautiful and thoughtful lyrics together with the magical music. Then of course, comes that iconic David Gilmour solo, following through to the end. Surely one of the greatest and most memorable classics of all time, especially as it is forever linked to possibly the most important theme of life, TIME.
They were 19, 20, 21, etc when they wrote/recorded this. SHINE ON.
There are lyrics but… Patience has its rewards
Lot of our music was best if you had a nice buzz on.Stil,......enjoy.We had real talent back in the day.
6:42 This part hits hard because, I think this is the part where the person is dying (Song = Lifetime) and the person is thinking to himself a million thoughts in miliseconds like ''Wow, this is all, huh? But I thought I had so much to do and experience, I did not exactly rush but still I thought I could make everything right before my time actually runs out, how did I waste so much time again? I thought I had more time this doesn't feel right I thought I would be more peaceful... What was all this again?' etc All those thoughts we ignored/prolonged just rushes into the brain in a matter of nanoseconds like that... The part after this , where the person comes back to home again is actually for the funeral, because the bells(church) etc and ''magic spells'' is probably a mockery of religion. I throughly enjoy this part too but the previous part is so great I can't even describe... Crazy thing is I've just watched a video before this , it was from the year 1873 (150 years ago), it was in a town square or something because it was extremely crowded, all those people passing by were looking at the camera since they were curious of this new technology, some of them were smiling , some of them were shy, there was a really old man, and there was a baby too... NOT ONE of them exist today...They're both and they are all gone... All those people, they experienced this ''life thing'' just like we did, and now they're just... gone. There is no bigger tragedy in this realm for me. That's why this is the only song that ever made me cry, maybe because it was able to project those ideas/feelings that a 30 yo person like me tend not to think about... We never had the time right? I want to edit this comment 10 years later. IF I have/had the ''Time''
This song resonates hard as the decades fly by. Be kind. Always. Out lies and evil. Always.
You spoilt it by saying “ I know they’re are lyrics soon .. your not experiencing the “ whole journey of their music , one thing you don’t do is “ rush” Floyd music , they’ll take you there when they are ready not you
I saw this in concert first row stage left in Pittsburgh Civic Arena, must of been about 1974, so about fifty years ago. Super great in concert.. Love seeing younger generations react as time ticks away.
this song makes me far more wistful at 42 than it did at 22
Just stumbled across your channel. I was in 10th grade when Dark Side of the Moon was released. It over whelmed everyone. Take this song to heart. I did. I spent most of the 80's following the Grateful Dead up and down the East Coast. Wouldn't change a thing. I lived and enjoyed my youth. If you think time is flying by at 29, wait till you hit 40. It just vanishes. Live everyday like it's your last.
Wish I could listen to this song for the first time again. That's okay ill listen to it for the 1000th time.
Please let it play leave your comment until it's finished
they cant do that they get copy right strikes if they dont comment during the video its considered a broadcast not a reaction
@@ripvanwinkle2002 well quite a few of them do
@@davidmoule417 um no they dont i think youll find there are very few reactors doing no commentary reactions.. and havent been for quite a long time. but feel free to post some here that DO NOT COMMENT NOR HIDE THE VIDEO until the end..
@@ripvanwinkle2002 I'll find one, but it makes no difference to the music it's still the best there is
@@davidmoule417 the fact you have to "find one" and cant post one because there are so "many who do" tells me im right. dont bother trying to convince me with a random outlier..
Slightly different tune,it kinda annoys, even the smallest difference..
Glad the lyrics hit you, so disappointing to watch someone just bop to the beat or trip to synths and totally miss the message of this song, or the album. The more you listen, the older you get, the harder this hits you.
I had the same reaction when I heard this song, the whole album, and their next three, in the 70s in college. Changed my life. I still listen to PF today. There may never be another band like them.
The best lyrics ever written.
How does this channel only have one video and it’s got nearly 1 million views?! I’m so confused, lol
Don't be pathetic.
at 63, you are dead on the money.
Glad you have discovered what I listened to fifty years ago. Wish I could go back in time.
My favorite song. It takes you on a trip like no other.
You are very prescient there with your comment about hearing this song younger and then hearing it over the years; it really does hit harder and harder. It's a song I loved as a kid coz it was cool and sounded great and yeah whatever words, whatever. Now in my 50s... its a whole different beast.
When you hear this song for the first time, it can pull you in. But when you *listen* to this song for the first time, it can mess you up.
I rolled out of bed early one morning. As I flipped the radio on this song came on like an alarm clock at the very beginning.
