How fast are you able to push your boat ? And has that motor blew your clutch? I just got the same setup
@@RJOFFROAD we topped out at 24 against the current with 2 guys and probably 5 gallons of gas and no problems with belt or the clutch
Nice boat, think I seen your post on the Mud-Skipper fb group about hitting 36 mph with that setup lol. I’m curious to know how the clutch and belt is holding up with the 500cc. I just ordered one for my feather lite kit.
Yea that’s me I’ve only been out on it once I just got the transom right today I’ll probably be out sometime testing but it held up pretty good my dad and I rode probably 2-3 miles and no problems
@@Raggedjons24.7 right on, I’m hoping it works out alright as long as I’m not hammering on the throttle 24/7.
Should be fine I ran this motor on my 1436 and the only problem I had was I put a hole in the boat😂

20 on a 1436 with two guys

On that boat I been like 23-24 with two guys I got a 1236 im putting this motor on should be alittle faster

@@Raggedjons24.7did you have any issues with getting the belt on and tightened correctly ? I have same kit with predator 459cc
@@Cleangrowersusa no you just have to have the four bolts in the middle loose and the two above your clutch loose
That surface drive kit fit perfect for motor even though it's rated higher HP?
I just purchased a Swamp Runner longtail and pairing it with a 22hp Predator engine. I have installed it on a 14ft fiberglass boat. I'm currently replacing the floor and beefing up the transom. I can't wait to try it out! But it's just been so f'ing hot and rainy here in south Alabama. I can't wait until fall gets here!

I’ve been looking at this same motor too!! I think I could make it a beast! I wish I would’ve known about the 500cc duromax before I bought my 459 Predator! I just put a nr racing carb on it and picked up a little more speed, hitting 28mph
