Literally just had this done less than 5 hours ago. Hopefully it works! Just moderate pain/cramping occasional waves of severe pain (I have a chronic pain disorder anyway so it’s just exacerbated)
How long does this procedure take ? Is it painful or uncomfortable ? How are you now ?
@@NeicyJ1990 I had mine done under general anesthesia in the operating room. The procedure total was probably about 60-90 minutes as they also took biopsies and stuff before the ablation part. I was at the hospital maybe 4-5 hours total. It was extremely rough the first two months but now I have no bleeding at all not even spotting, some random cramps but it seems to be like when I should have my period but no blood at all. No more discharge , it was bad for a good 6-8 weeks after the procedure
@@NeicyJ1990 it’s not super painful afterwards. It was moderately painful the first 4 days or so. I relied on laying on my tummy on my heating pad in bed

I just had one removed while wide awake and no anaesthetic used and I didn’t feel a thing!

@@priyankabharadwaj2371 there was one day that I had INSANE cramping, then after that for a couple weeks I had spotting, light bleeding, and faint cramps. I could actually feel the polyp with my finger because it had emerged through my cervix (which I think was what happened when I first had that huge cramp) and I just went to a gyno, told them my symptoms, they took a look and then removed it really quick and it was no worse than a painless pap smear! Quick and easy with absolutely no pain or recovery time afterwards aside from abstaining from s*xual activity for like ten days

I had this surgery done yesterday and I woke up the next morning with no more cramps than how it feels to need to go to the bathroom. I am in so much relief that I would recommend this to every woman who has heavy menstrual pain and/or bleeding.
