They turned out really well!
They are super cute and tasty! I think they are keeping me above water with all these sick people around!!
They look so good! ❤
So helpful! Is that shepherds crook coffee I see in the back ground?! 😄 It’s all we drink :-)
Yes Laura and Greg are wonderful friends and have great coffee!! Thanks for watching!!
Great info, thank you so much. Hopefully I will be able to use your recipe. Looks really good. I appreciate all you do
I appreciate you watching and commenting!! Have a wonderful evening!
thank you for this video i would like to add cream to it cause i like creamy coffee & tea . Bitter 😮 oh no , i don't like strong tea 😊
A little honey adds a nice sweetness to it !
Thank you for this! I have made several tinctures in the past with alcohol and it just doesn't agree with my IBD, will try this method 🙂I'm just like you with the eating too, even restaurants, ugh!
@@carmens5541 I’m so happy! I’m going to be working on a video with oxymel as well so you will have options! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thank you for the recipe and the advice, Sarah! 👏
Hopefully you were able to get through this one without interruption, lol!!
@GraftedinGraceHomestead I was watching while making dinner. I can't seem to do anything without interruption or multitasking these days. It's just this season of life. 🤣
@Humblest_Homestead yes but one day you will have more time and miss them. Life is about trade offs. This is why we circle ourselves with women in different seasons to help us along!
Just be careful as floor of tub could be slippery.
Can you use this moisturizer under your eyes? Concern about the castor oil? With the oils does it smell good and not like tallow.
@@galekraft462 I use the castor oil around my eyes. A little but goes a long way! Yes I find the essential oils offset the tallow smell so you don’t smell like cooking grease!
I love the idea of using tallow but have a hard time with the smell
@@colettequalls8255 I order mine from essential depot. It is very mild quite different than what I render myself! You can also do shea butter part and part tallow with the castor to cut the smell some!
Now I want a witch hazel bush.
A. I love your shirt. B. I never thought of making these kinds of covers/wraps. This is amazing!
How did you know I needed a good body scrub?
Thank you sooooop much! Going to try this! ❤
I hope you enjoy this is definitely one of my favorites!Thank you for watching!
Love them!!!!
What better properties do you get by using grass-fed vs grain?
Grass fed tallow mimics the natural oils produced by our skin, making it a deeply nourishing moisturizer that can help hydrate and protect the skin. Grass fed tallow avoids a lot of the inflammation properties of grain fed. Cows really were not made for a high grain diet, it causes gut health issues in them. The overall health of the cow is better and this transfers into the fat of the animal. Grass-fed tallow had 45 percent less total PUFA, 66 percent less omega-6 linoleic acid, and four times more omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid. The ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids was over sixteen for the grain-fed tallow but only 1.4 for the grass-fed tallow. It also has higher levels of vitamin E, which helps with aging. I always select grass fed over grain even with what I eat because we are what they eat. If the animals have a bad diet then it carries over to us!
@@GraftedinGraceHomestead OH MY GOODNESS!! Thank you for such a thorough answer!
Wow! What innovation ya have here!! 👍
just found this video, really good demonstration, can't wait to try it thank-you
Thank you! I’m quite fond of this :)
Hi! Would it be okay to use castor oil and tallow alone? I don’t have any essential oils. My concern is will the tallow go off without the rosemary oil to preserve it. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe ❤
@@TheFireFlyStudio67 yes but make a smaller amount this way you know you’ll use it. Or you can do a larger amount and place in the fridge to be sure it’s doesn’t turn without the oils!
@ great! I live in a travel trailer so not enough space for placing in the refrigerator. I will try a small batch as I love how the tallow absorbs in my skin. Just not keen on smelling like Sunday roast😁 hugs Gina
@TheFireFlyStudio67 I understand lived in one of those for a while! Space is precious!
Vitamin E is also a preserve
Thank you, I would like to see a pink w/ poppy seeds and a dark chocolate. I want to try your shampoo bars when mine are finished. God bless
I will work them into the next rotation:)
I never knew how to make hydrosols before. This was a great tutorial!!
I rather melt it.
I love the color combination of these bars. It's beatiful. Thank you for the video!
Thank you! Another recipe I can use!
Awe! Glad you enjoyed! I find it quite handy!
Happy looking animals 🥰 Thats great to see
Oh fun! We must have the same friend (seeing as she sent me the link to your video and was super excited)! 🥰 I have altered her recipe a bit to be half white flour and half whole wheat flour. Also, I spread butter on the top when it comes out of the oven. I'm a butter lover! 😉 Sometimes the bread doesn't rise as much as I want it to in that initial 20mins. So I also add a pan/dish of boiling water under the bread loaf to help it rise. Be sure to remove the pan or dish before heating up your oven and cooking, bc it will cause the bottom of the loaf to be soggy. 🤦🏼♀️ I've forgotten that step a couple times.
Great extra tips!! Thank you for watching!
I’m always on the hunt for a good, easy bread recipe. Hubby has a thing for wonder bread so the closer I can get the better. Thank you!
I liked this one better! Let me know if you try it!

It’s so easy to follow along! Thank you for sharing and teaching us. Do you ever add any other herbs like maybe self-heal or bee balm? Or plantain?
I have other recipes for those, but you can use any in this one :)
Thank you
We are elders!? lol! Sounds great compared to the herbal calcium tea I drink everyday 😂 You should do a follow up video! I wanna know if it’s working, friend. ❤
I plan on it!

Do you still ship lotion..? would love to try this ..TY
I removed it from the store because of the summer it was madness! With it now winter it’s back for the season!
@@GraftedinGraceHomestead How do I go to the store ?
Oh, I need to check out the one for cough! Thanks!
Love this! I use both and usually just whip it up together in my hand but I should just make this! Just a side note, it will be eventually coming out how dangerous essential oils are! There is a research based book out called Essentially Deadly, The Unspoken Dangers of Essential Oils by April Graham. You should give it a read. There a section where the research shows hat these VOC's literally stop T Cell formation! Thanks so much , I love how simple this is!❤
I'm very impressed. You did all of this without a funnel. I always make SUCH a mess if I dont use a funnel. 😅 Great video! Thank you for showing us how to make these room sprays.
@@Humblest_Homestead ahahah it was a pretty wide rim on there I make more of a mess with a funnel!
Thank you!!! I don’t like all the chemical scents. Lots make me sneeze. This sounds like it will work well.
I spray them on my window treatments and pillows etc. Helps it last longer and keep the scent to freshen everything up! Just remember to test a small area first!
@ I will, and that’s a great idea! Does the witch hazel seem to make the scent last longer for that?
Yes, it makes it a heavier scent. I prefer it! When my herbs come in we are going to make homemade witch hazel! That’s what I used today!
Thank you, I will try these!
Going to be rewatching Sunday, taking notes and getting my lemon balm oil started!! Thank you!!!
Lemon Balm is one of my favorites! She has a wealth of benefits!!! Let me know how it turns out!!
@ I will! It’s going to be a minute since I need to gather a few things and dry some lemon balm.
I have magnesium oil. I wonder if I could use that instead of the flakes & water
@@MountainwithaView I would think you could. I have just read the flakes are absorbed better so I use those. But the way information changes which is better oil verse flakes could change with the next release of information!
Try using colloidal silver in place of water.. I make my own, or you could use rose hydrosol .. would be more shelf stable & a few drops of vit. E
@@MountainwithaView yes both of those work beautifully as well! Thanks for the tip!
Yummy! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
Thank you for placing the recipe in the description!
