This narrator is nuts. Trees have no souls, neither do they see, hear, speak, breath or listen. That being said I've planted some on my property in Serbia and they have an interesting history much like the Wollemi Pine in Australia.

Don't know whether you will ever see this message..... So I was in the woods the other day, a very special place, and I felt a calling to one particular tree🌳🌳🌳 not knowing it was a Yew tree, or anything about it, I stood and put my hand against a large piece of the tree which had been chopped off. I wanted to give the tree reiki for where the human had taken her limb. I wasn't expecting this, but I felt a surge of love and healing energy move right through my palm, up my arm and into my heart. Having a very natural gift to speak and listen to trees, I heard it say, please look in my undergrowth, I have a gift for you. I looked down in the undergrowth and there was the very arm that had been chopped off. I picked it up and looked at the most beautiful impressions of red, deep dark blood red and brown on its bark. A very heavy piece of wood, approximately 3 1/2 ft by 6 in wide. The tree clearly indicated to me that it wanted me to take it home and I only found out yesterday that it was in fact a Yew Tree. I have often been told by psychics that I have a gift I should be a death doola... so it hardly surprises me that I had this connection to a tree, which pertains to the underworld, death, rebirth and the life beyond the life. I just wondered what you would personally do with this beautiful arm of Yew? Would you make runess from it, or perhaps magical pendants... or do you feel it's just something to hold and meditate with? Some feel it is bad luck to bring it in the house and so it is perched on my balcony in the sun. I do hope this is a good omen and a genuine gift from the tree and I would love to hear your thoughts. Using could be negative in any way please be honest with me to help me make an informed decision as to how to work with the tree gift 🌳🌳🌳 Thank you for your wonderful video. ❤❤❤

I am half way through The Magic Arts in Celtic Britain by Lewis Spence, it is full of this type of information. I had always wondered about fairies, Lewis says that they have the same attributes as the dead alike not good enough for Heaven and not bad enough for Hell, so they are between worlds. Basically, they are the same as the dead spirits of ancestors that lurk around during the Five Days of New Years - Halloween. Maybe that is why Smurfs are blue, I doubt it, I watch Little Red Ridding Hood cartoons just to see if any get it correct and they don't, probably because cutting out grand ma, mom, and the kid are a bit too much. BTW, they represent past ages of the Sun with destruction and Impact Winter between.

The claim that 'many' yew trees in churchyards predate the churches and by inference were planted in pagan religious sites is not backed up by botany and archaeology and is based on the flawed calculations of one Allen Meredith in the 1970's. The vast majority of yews in churchyards were planted at the same time as the construction of the churches.

I found a lovely old Beech tree in the Highlands ,in the woods near where I lived,I called it the Druid tree,it was beautiful ,so pleased to learn more about these lovely Trees.

In Swedish beech is bok. A letter is a bokstav.

I imagine the spirits of all the local trees welcoming the spirit of a monkey puzzle tree with a banquet

The German word for letter, (of the alphabet) is 'Buchstabe' lit "beech stave/staff/stick". Before paper, people would write on beech strips or split sticks, more practical than bark.

Thank you. I was very lucky to visit the coastal redwoods in the 1970s. I’m heartbroken to know that so many have been felled. Considering their huge importance to this planet, it’s very short sighted and sad to think that if they were all still standing our climate maybe in better health. Not every human appreciates their immense importance to us all. I often pass trees and wonder what they have witnessed over the years. It breaks my heart we are so careless with them. How anybody can say any wood comes from a sustainable source, especially long lived trees like oak, is beyond me. How can beautiful oak trees be cut down for something as superficial as furniture because it’s currently fashionable? It takes them so long to grow. Longer than most of us live. How can the wood come from a sustainable source? I wish my own species would wake up and realise we are cutting off our own oxygen supply. Let alone everyone else on the planet. I was told that sycamore’s are weeds. How can any tree be a weed? They are supporting all of us. Without them, we can not survive. Thank you for taking the time to educate. There is a housing estate near me in Wales called 'The Beeches'. I guess it was given the name because of all the beech trees in the area.

Conkers repel spiders, my friend told me, so, I placed conkers on the starboard side of my sailing boat, and sure enough I only had spiders on the port side. When I told this to another friend, he said it was because a conker looks like a giant spiders body, so it scares other spiders away. Seems right to me. Anyways, love your videos. Peace to you.
