      "Amazing Grace" performed by an organ might be considered a reverent introduction to the preaching of the Word of God, regardless of the viewer's age. Our intent is not to entertain God's people or the "heathen". If a few chords of "Amazing Grace" offends you, just wait until you hear Pastor David preach from the Word of God. If that offends you then you know which of the groups of people you belong to.

    I'm at 3:34 who are we proclaiming that to. Cuz the heathen does show up for church very often.

      Frank. At 3:34 Pastor David is reading from the apostle Paul's instruction to the Corinthian church on the manner and significance of the Lord's Supper. He clearly states that by the very act of partaking in the Lord's Supper, the Christian is proclaiming and assenting to the truth of the Lord's death and to all that His death accomplished. This proclamation is made to all who witness the communion ordinance; to fellow believers who partake of the elements as well as to non-believers who may be in attendance. So, the answer to your question is we are proclaiming it to all who witness the ordinance.

    Thank you for good, solid preaching/teaching! (And for not yelling at us!) If I lived in your area, Liberty Christian would be my church. As it is, you ARE "my" church as there is not even one within driving distance of me that teaches TRUTH!

      We praise the Lord for you Annie! At Liberty Christian Church we are committed to the preaching of God's Word as contained in the pages of the Bible. We believe it is our sole, inerrant guide to the knowledge of God and to living a life pleasing to Him in this fallen world. We understand your frustration in finding a local church that is faithful to biblical truth. So many churches have compromised by adding to, distorting, or completely rejecting the plain teachings of Scripture. Many incorporate worldly "wisdom" in the place of godly wisdom. We are all vulnerable to this. Pastor David regularly includes in his congregational prayers the plea that God will keep us faithful to His Word. We are pleased to have you as a "non-local member" of our church. We do pray that God will cause a biblically faithful church congregation to arise in your area. Pray for us. We are a very small congregation. God bless you.

      @@libertychristianchurchofsu5451 Thank you for your kind reply. I'm in my 9th decade and, if the Rapture doesn't happen SOON (which I believe it will!) I'll be going soon, anyway, due to cancer. I'm very much isolated with my little dog and plan to die in my home. Honestly, I can't foresee a biblically faithful church arising here; however, miracles still happen. My little town is inundated with "churches" ~ on almost every corner! The closest town is over 35 miles from here, and things aren't much better there, sad to say. Meanwhile, thank you again for being there for me. MARANATHA!

    Do you teach on predestination?

    • @libertychristianchurchofsu5451
      @libertychristianchurchofsu5451 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Bible repeatedly uses the terms, "predestined", "chosen", and "elect" more or less interchangeably to refer to those God has chosen in Christ "before the foundation of the world..." (Ephesians 1:4). "In love he predestined us for adoption through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of His will..."( Ephesians 1:5). Notice the last phrase "according to the purpose of His will". Those chosen were predestined according to the purposes of His will, not according to the will of those chosen. An important point. These passages and many others make it clear that God has exercised His sovereign will to choose people from every tribe, tongue and nation to be partakers of His grace. He made this election "before the foundation of the world". In other words before any of them were created. Therefore those recipients of His grace could play no part in their election.

    Good Article. People might wonder what is the point of all this preaching why are people always bothering us about the bible and what Jesus said. It is because 100,000s of thousands of people die every day and most of them are probably not going to Heaven. Jesus said there is a narrow way and FEW people find it. When Jesus spoke to his people he said "little flock" because most people have not really taken the time to explore the bible to see what it takes for Jesus to take us into Heaven when we leave this earth. It is a very sad reality but Jesus is a fierce judge when we actually look at the bible. Like the bible says "Our God is a consuming fire". The bible says for everyone to work out their salvation and spend their time sojourning on earth in fear and trembling. The bible says be afflicted and mourn let you laughing be turned into morning and your joy to heaviness. Those who laugh now will mourn later. Like John Macarthur a great preacher says God gave an impossible message to unremarkable people. It's like Jesus said I have to hate my life, and give up all my desires to follow him or I will be punished for eternity? That’s pretty harsh. But it is because he is such a Holy God and no sin in life will go unpunished he paid for our sin but we have to receive the gift of salvation to go to Heaven. How do we get this? That is a very complicated thing but the bible lays it out for us. And we can find the way to Jesus when we seek the truth and let the word cleanse our heart. Which is why Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life no one comes to the father but by me. I am the door and if anyone comes in any other way he is a thief and a robber. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness In this verse the bible is speaking about those who received not the love of the truth. Those who wanted to live their own way. The bible always says the gospel message is foolish to those who are perishing. In the article below it talks about the importance of repentance. We must repent of sin and turn to God. We must repent from taking our own path and turn to God or our direction will not be good. Those who don't know Jesus will go to the same place as the worst of the worst. The father of Satanism on his dead bed was saying before he died what have I done what have I done something is very wrong something is very wrong. John Hagee speaks of visiting someone on his dead bed who said preacher PRAY PRAY PRAY I can feel the flames of hell PRAY as he died. This is a very serious thing. The alternative is eternal punishment in the lake of fire. Whaling and knashing of teeth. The Holy Ghost will be our prosecutor and render us guilty as charged. Because the intent of Jesus was for us to live a live in submission to him and his word. www.desiringgod.org/messages/unless-you-repent-you-will-all-likewise-perish Other recommended videos: The Only Road to Heaven & Saved or Self Deceived Part 1&2 by John Macarthur

    Every night before we go to to sleep we should make our lives right with God so that even if we were to die in our sleep we will still go to Heaven. Here is a good prayer to say before sleeping and throughout the day. Say dear Lord Jesus I thank you for dying for my sins and I receive you as my Lord and saviour. Lord Jesus I confess all my past, present and future sins to you and I ask you to please forgive me for all these sins, wash away all my spots, blemishes and wrinkles and fill me with overflowing holy spirit and with overflowing spiritual oil even unto death. Lord I forgive and release all those who have done me wrong and I ask you to bless them. Lord Jesus please write my name permanently in the lambs book of life in Heaven in Jesus's name I pray. Amen🙏🙏 Pass this prayer to everyone, Jesus bless you.
