One who is dealing with the ramifications and side effects of treatments that attack the feminine psyche. Our mission is to inspire through education, outreach, community and event sessions. Because every woman deserves to feel beautiful in her own skin.. After eight years of service and due to lack of funding we have closed.. Our mission of metamorphosis where survivors become thrivers lives on through our Survivor Diaries

I’ve been on Anastrozole for 6 weeks and have had very minor manageable side effects! I was so anxious about taking them because of all the bad side effects people mostly talk about and it’s not been so bad.
Oh my goodness Connie, I really needed to hear this. I'll have to start Anastrozole in about 3 weeks and I've been agonizing over it. You gave me some hope today. Thank you!
@@same5952 I wished I had seen this as I wasted so much time on anxiety and fear over it! There are many women who do not have major side effects! Many of them say they stay off social media; however, I think it is great way to connect and share what works for us. I saw a naturopath and she recommended taking RepaGyn for Vaginal dryness (which I am not suffering from) 2x week inserting one to be proactive with our Vaginal tissues. Even if we didn’t take the pills this and other side effects could happen as they are the result of lack of estrogen. We are just accelerated into no estrogen from the pills. I am also using a balm called Thieves Balm by Marseille that helps with inflammation - if I feel some joint issues, I rub it on and voila no issues. I use it with a borage cream to make it last longer and it’s quite potent. Made by a Canadian company. I also stretch every morning before getting out of bed, I’ll link a dr’s you tube channel - she’s from Toronto and makes free videos. I walk 3-4 km a day and soon will up that during summer. I also take another supplement called Recovery Whole Body Health and Pain Relief and I take Vitamin D which has vitamin K, Calcium and magnesium in it for proper absorption as lack of estrogen also affects our bones. I am going to start lifting light weights too.

Am facing this decision myself. I love the honesty in this video “Nobody wants to hear it” - so true. Even people closest to you can’t listen, can’t accept that Arimidex is a nasty nasty drug that could ruin the good years you have left. Being asked to take a drug that will turn my non arthritic healthy bones into those of an old person. Great decision! In order to live long enough to be be an older person I’m going to turn myself into one straight away. Well that’s just great. But - I have cancer so I dont have any right to complain. I’m female and probably just being emotional and imagining side effects I. My silly head
@@ECHOVALLEY-qg9ex Wow! Thank you for this and I understand you perfectly. I'm facing this decision myself and I'm urged by my oncologists to try this drug for a month and see how I feel. I don't know, I may do so but if I don't like the side effects, I'm quitting for sure! I, like you, don't want to get old before my time!
