This shanty is reminding me of the times that i had as a young we lad. moments of love and laughter with some of my friends and family and some of them have moved on or passed away. times i wish can relive again but can't. Time only goes forward never back. Remember of those times that make you who you are.

I had a old freind who used to love this game, i never played but he always wanted me too. about a year and a half later he vanished from my freind group and i never saw him again, i decided to install the game along with a freind to sail the seas searching. i hope to find you one day Indecicive0_0

This game and it’s music feels me with an emotion I can’t explain, this is truly one of the best games I have ever played, we shall sail together!

Me and my crew would play for hours and and we would always sail my ship my ships name was bloody Henry he had a black hull with blood red sails and I was his captain and when we were done we would vote to scuttle and we play this song and when the flag floated up we would bury the flag near where he sunk I have not been able to play sea of thives for mouths because my gamepass ran out and it comes back in 4 days on Christmas I'm so exited to see my beautiful Henry and can't wait to play with my crew again it's been 3 mouths and this is gonna be my first time playing season 8 sea of thieves to me is a game of peace it's more thsn a pirate game the sea of thieves lives in a special place in my heart I wanna tattoo the logo on my arm

This song affects me in a way no other song ever has... I don't have many friends that play this game, but the ones I do... The memories we've had together on here.. they com flowing back everytime I hear this tune. Legit stops me in my tracks... And I have to listen to the whole thing... It's never like 20 second of it... I've even done a few random crews and there was this one time on a random galleon, we had just been playing around doing a couple forts and towards the end, we had turned in our plunder, and this lonely sloop who had been grinding all night pulled into our port. My crew were all heading off for the night, but the sloop captain offered us all of his loot easily 250,000 gold worth (he was a very experienced solo player) He was also getting off for the night, so we all grab everything and turn it in. Afterwards, we made a plan to send eachother off: we would sink our ships together while playing this song, and as soon as the song ends we would all log out never to see each other again. So, we lined our ships up side by side, harpooned the fronts together, as if the ships were best friends holding hands, and we each threw 1 fire bomb each onto the deck of each ship, and began immediately playing this song. There we were... 5 pirates with no prior knowledge of the others standing beside us, watching as our ships slowly lit ablaze and burned brighter than the stars and moonlight reflecting on the oceans waves. They started sinking below water level and on the very last note of Becalmed... The crows nests disappeared together... I was so captivated by the moment that I forgot our plan was to log out right after and I said in proximity chat "that was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen"... I didn't get a reply back from any of the crew mates, and I look left and right to see that I'm alone on the beach... My crew was gone... Never to be seen again. I was legitimately speechless and I just sat there listening to the waves crash on the beach of the outpost with tears welling in my eyes.. and as the moon finally came into view I pulled out my lantern, 'blew it out' and then left to the menu... This was with 4 random people. Most magical and emotional gaming experience I've ever had in an online game. And I will NEVER forget it. Thank you SoT for making true stories of freedom and friendship a reality. Literally have tears in my eyes while typing this... Whoever was on that ship with me that night... Thank you for you have impacted me greatly, making me realize you have to cherish your relationships with people, because you never know when you're gonna be left on the beach alone... Longing for a distant memory of your crew...

dont know if anyone comes back to this video. but sot has brought me closer to those i love and cherish today. friends i used to have problems with, now my brothers. i genuinely dont believe theres a better game to play with friends. it brings so much peace to that xbox/discord vc. no one plays sea of thieves and doesnt appreciate how pure and gorgeous it is. regardless of race, background, religion or political views, this game has brought so many people together and i couldnt thank Rare enough<3. love you Matthew love you Ethan love you Bryce me hardy crew. long live the Wet Willy

Me and my 2 friends would stack fotd’s and after sinking tons of boats, we would sell at reapers. We would then set the boat on fire, play this song, and wait till it sunk. We would then drown right after with it. This song brings so much peace to me and just brings back the memories from when I grinded to get PL. I could listen to this song forever. We no longer play but I have and always will cherish these memories. BECALMED

I play this on the front of my boat all the time looking out at the vast ocean. Being a solo slooper can be one of the most fun but loneliest adventures. I don't know how to find gamer tags very well on steam so I stopped trying, one day I'll find my Gallion of friends. Happy Seas out there Pirates!

Really this game have a lot of potential, but there so many cancer going around I thinks, the best play I does is a 24hour non stop, no PK, encountered poeple one time who asked me for ball, gived them 200 of each with food and wood.

I used to play this with my mates but 1 year old they dropped me I remember every moment we had from fighting the megladon to getting killed by the kraken and I remember one moment where I left 2 of my mates they took a little boat and the megladon was chasing them we had alot of fun but now I play by myself

The game had such a big impact on me. To this day i remember feeling something very special throughout the entire game, especially in city of tears. Some emotion or feeling i dont remember having in my entire life. I think music of hollow knight played the biggest role. Just when i was really desperate and tired of working and same old videogamss i stumbled upon this. Hollow knight refreshed my soul.

Me and my lad had been playing for hours. Grinding away exploring each and every island. Until the time came when we were forced to get back to our life in the non virtual world. Before we left we met up at the very front of the ship, playing this tune until our hearts sank deeper than the sun did that majestic evening. We then left the server wondering if we would see each other again, or if any moment would come close to this one.

You don't go through two forts, ashen captains, and a megalodon, and get to an outpost, battered, bruised, and hanging on for dear life without feeling a little bit of fear, but then, as you're winding down, and you feel that it's 3 in the morning, you and the lads sit around the fire, laughing and enjoying the day's adventures with a dry eye at the end. Let alone when one of the lads stands, pulls out the hurdy gurdy, and, as the night sky radiates with stars in the game's sky, and the embers illuminate you, and you all join in with this song. The feeling's indescribable... I hope wherever they are, the crew's doing fine. Golden sands and crystal clear seas, brimming with gold are what they deserve.

I used to play this game with my brother it was his favorite I gathered as much gunpowder kegs as I could I sent the ship off while I was ashore and blew it up and watched it sink and played this tune for him. it was Fun playing with you.
