I did this 50 times on my Privy and still did not get the item my Bucc it took me 38 runs to get the item

The quest npcs surely must reference something, but I have no clue what. It's funny either way. Something interesting is that these book 12 bosses didn’t get their levels rebalanced when the Marleybone/Aquila update came out (at least I assume it was then), so despite the main quest being around LV45 at this point and ending at LV47/48, all of the side bosses are LV49-50. This doesn't have all that much bearing on difficulty though, their health still seems in line with the main quest ones. Only one I noticed being noticeably out of tune was a main quest boss they missed, Isao Murasaki (Imperial Garrison version) is LV50 and has 3,108 health, 3 levels higher and 223 more health than the Water Guardian.

Another villain who wants to conquer the spiral. Very original. I think we’ll have GTA VII before the next update where an actual world is released

While I doubt this it works, it’d be pretty neat if this counted towards Kan Po’s 2nd promotion. Ties in pretty much perfectly with it, in both story and gameplay.

Lords of trash's boots and dragon ace of doom and Sinbad's bold stripes and Cerberus' collar how did you get these items plz?

Important extra detail, any model since 2021 is bugged to this boss and can't damage it, despite attacking with melee. This includes companions like Albano or Sinbad, as well as the Gorgon and Reprisal summons.

Not much more I have to add when it comes to the promotion mechanics, description says most of my thoughts. I do think it's interesting that we get a proper lead-in to a companion promoting rather than just them saying so, that's something we've never gotten before. However it A: Needs some form of indication in-game for any later players. B: Shouldn't be locked behind a Skeleton Key if it's mandatory farming. C: Should've instead been a badge reward so it's consistent rather than being completely helpless to when you'll get it. Make the item unable to be sold or trashed as well. That last point they would never do though, because I'm almost certain this is a ploy to get people playing the game for a longer period, and not a very good one at that. Add that to obviously being forced out early as a blanket cover of the recent drama and I think it's clear why no one is satisfied. I like this new power he's got, Privateer and Buccaneer in particular I bet could make good use of him now. Unfortunately if Hawkules is at LV72, his health will be an odd number so he won't get put in Turn the Tide by it - I also would've preferred if it was like Second Wind where it depends on current health rather than maximum, so you could use it when he's lower to deal less damage to himself.

Alright here it is, a bit late to the party but whatever. I decided to try and take advantage of the free membership but I should`ve stocked up on more Obsidian skeleton keys. The only 2 characters that were able to promote Hawk were my Witchdoctor (1 fail, and only 2 runs) and my Musketeer (16 runs). Priv is at 37 runs, Swash at 29, and Bucc at 17. So now I have to farm keys just to farm for the Doom Laurel which is MANDATORY to promote Hawk, dumb design choice. Current ranking of promo quests for me probably goes like: -Any promo quests pre Valencia Pt2 -Presidio companion 3rd promo quest -Old Scratch`s 3rd promo -Either this promo or Gracie/Catbeard`s pay with gold promo (tempted to put this promo at the very bottom because of the requirements)

Can’t resist the chance to remind a blind person, yet again, of their crippling disability.

In a hypothetic rebalance/bugfix that is never coming, I'd improve the quest drops of those Ettins and have the Legionnaire Shades count towards the quest goal. There is no reason you should be spending 3-5 battles to complete either goal, just 2 of each is more than enough. Hell, I'd argue only 1 battle with the Shades is necessary, seeing how you fight more with Cadmus anyways. I'd probably streamline V for Vulpine too, you fight a group of radicals 7 times in the midst of that quest - technically 8 since Guy barely counts as a unique battle.

While it's not important, I'd have liked some of these side quests to be updated to fight different ships rather than the Cutthroats over and over. For instance, this and/or A Priceless Antique could have you fight the Red Claws, while Skull Island Idols would have you fight the Waponis. Of course, the lines would need rerecording in that case so I can see why no such change would ever occur, even if it'd make the early side quests slightly more varied.

I wish someday they do a real avenging promotion for the presido companions but i dont think their budget would allow it

For anyone who doesn`t know the Coummnity Manager for Pirate Hawkules or Chris has been fired from KI. He said in a twitter thread that although he was fired for not doing his job he goes on to commend the poor behavior and management from Sparck/Bat Masterson. Such a huge blow to the Pirate101 community since Chris was someone who had a lot of enthusiasm for this game. You won't hear people talk about this quest a lot, but I do really like it. Gives a little more relevance to one of the totem spirits, sheds some light on Old Scratch's origins and is an appropriate excuse of how he gets stronger. Doesn’t take too long or require a lot of travelling either. Even sets up the next with Dark Crawler. Balancing wise, I'd like Skreech to be a little more powerful, not too much more though seeing as it's a promotion. The fight used to be only 2 companions vs 4 enemies, so I'd let him have an extra Evil Spirit again. I'd also give him Intuition 1, an epic rarely seen and would come into play in this fight since Old Scratch always appears. Skreech definitely should get some spells too, every other Raven/Crow has at least one; Soulreaver works fine as something to make him a little special, particularly since most Ravens/Crows get Mournsong. Could also give him Purge Magic as something niche to remove Scratch's Mojo Flow, or Steadying Speech to buff his own team. None of these would make the fight much harder if at all, but it would make it a little more notable. Side note: Most of the Raven's have different staffs - Skreech/The Salt Witch's is different from Karasu's who's different from Medea/Graea's. Wish you could get Skreech's and Karasu's, they'd be nice for stitches.

It's sad that you can only recruit one of the presido companions which implies the others are dead well only sad for the other 4 not gaspard cause ki intentionally or not made him not be the canon way you're parents died

Might be because I've heard them so many times, but I think these criticals are all better in fast combat. Most criticals I prefer at normal speed, but everything here seems way too slow, with too long of pauses and not a very fast theme.

damn this brings back memory, i have not touch this game for a while. I remember it being really crowded.
