January 1990 was a rough one for the old saga Genesis. Hey, that's the exact recipe we used to create Alex frustrating and annoying.... I assumed Alex kid was going to be better but then when you mentioned it being like the ice level in every video game I can totally understand why it was almost last. Oh and don't knock Rock Paper scissors as a boss battle. That's how I beat Denis in Hot shots!

Castle of illusions i remember loving as a kid. And super mario rpg is a solid grab. I would like to see a playthrough of the metal gear boardgame. That game is definitely a classic

I have not played Herzog Zwei or enough of Zoom to make a determination on them, but I would put Alex Kidd above Last Battle. The rock, paper, scissors is annoying, but I still had fun with the game when I streamed it. Japan wins every cover art battle this time. The only close one would be Herzog Zwei. The NA Zoom and Alex Kidd are bad.

Put a coaster under the Tower of Pisa.😂😂 And Tremors is awesome! Always was.😊 "Mario killer"😂😅oh, the dreamers. Hey, I ship stuff to Herzog all the time! Ha ha I hope Mary calls Fresh with "come on boy!" from here on out.

You can see the love and attention to detail being put into all these games, considering all the technical limitations of the time.

Tremors is such a good movie, I even like all the sequels 😁 The Japanese Herzog zwei bix art looks more like a 70's Sci-fi novel cover 🤷‍♂️ The NA/PAL Zoom box art is hideous 😂

Kinda sucks they sent you a Madden game and if it’s a duplicate even worse…otherwise the box is full of good fun stuff here. Immortals Phoenix Rising is a good game. I sunk a lot of time into it last year. It’s more like Zelda Breath of the Wild than God of War really though. The combat does feel a bit like the latter but the entire rest of the game is more like the new Zelda. I enjoyed it a lot. 🤙🏻

Immortals Fenyx Rising is so much fun; it's beautiful, controls well, and is such a treat of a world to explore. I had a blast with that one. Super Switch would've been a great name but you can tell Nintendo did not want to make another Wii U naming mistake--people had to be blatantly told this is a successor system. lol

Fenix is a fun version of Breath of the Wild. Great humour and fun combat, you'll enjoy it 👍

You can play back4blood alone. Some cases its easier with bots. But i like the game. If crossplay allowed pc and consoles to play together i would have invited you play with me and some of my friends. The valkyrie game looked cool but im not sure of square being involved. They get that super anime story telling going in their games and im not too huge on that style. And fenyx rising looks cool. I honestly forgot about it. But that would be my top pick as well

As a group, I think if we demand it we can make fresh play the pony game while dressed up as a brony... who's with me?

Off topic, but I hope you give Herzog Zwei a chance. It is upcoming on your Genesis anthology. One of the first RTS games made. Poorly rated when it initially released (EGM average was about 4/10), now an all time classic. My favorite Genesis game out of the 200 games I played. If you don't learn how to play it, you will not like it. It was too cerebral for the pick up and play reviewers of the early 90s.

Primal Rage is a nostalgia trip. remember the move inputs were more complicated than they needed to be

Crystal's Pony Tail was an easy game and perfect for a 5 year old. Love me some Primal Rage. Tomb Raider games are always iffy in my opinion.

Tomb Raider is my pick, too bad it's not in it's original box.

Good box, I'd have to pick Primal Rage. And about the nude code, there is actually no such thing. The devs never coded in such thing. It was an April fools prank in Computer And Video Games Magazine UK - Issue 185 April 1997

I love the rubber hose style of animation. Didnt show much on the box but vagrant song wasnt really doing it much for me in Presentation. Townsfolk tussle looked a lot better. But i am curious to what the gameplay is like

Golden Axe-like game? We're listening. Ew, boogers...that's naaaasty. Seaquest DSV was a sci-fi show, sort of Star Trek under the sea; Lady Laci loved it back in the day. Oh man, someday you gotta try Marble Madness in the arcades--you roll the marble with a roller ball; not incredibly easy! LEGO Marvel was a lot of fun. Someday I'll get to Spider-Man 2. lol Someday. Mary put the heat in your stocking? Whoa. You got MUSHA money? Damn, next 5 rounds are on YOU! ha ha ha Totally taking things personally though...first, you stopped coming to my sports ball games, now this! Mary with "20 lbs"--puh-LEEZ, that'd be, what, ALL of her gone? Pfft...
