Looking good bro!
@@thirtyonehundredapparel8412 thank you 🙏🏻!
No problems . I don’t think I mentioned it in this episode but i talk about it and show the model ect in the cab mock up episode . It’s a glide engineering seat with the foam package . Bucket bench with the flip down arm rest
Sorry if I missed it but what seat u using, glide? Thanks
I love the leather! What a rad color. Can’t wait to see it
You and me both! Haha
Truck is going to be one hell of a build
Thank you !
Like the upholstery choice
Appreciate it !
I've been following your build. Love it. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching ! Hoping to help or inspire anyone to get at there own build
Beautiful truck , the exhaust might look good shooting out straight under the bumper
@@danielvalentin6852 I’m thinking so as well in that area . It’s just the frame sits on the ground when aired out so it can’t go under the frame and the bumper is mounted same height as frame . I’m gonna mock up the bumper and have another look 👀. Thanks for the feedback !
That truck is sick well done Jhye.
So does the bed get raised every time to fill the fuel tank? Man it looks so good!!!
@@martinjamesdesigns3748 yup . I wanted the fuel filler hidden since I’m deleting the original location on the cab and didn’t want it to go through the raised bed . I’ll be able to hit the Dakota actuator switch in the cab and it’ll automatically lift to the height I set for fuel filling .
I would also look at beefing up the actuator mount that attaches to the bed floor. I think the amount of load it will take on just a flat plate will cause a lot of stress to the weld joints and probably start to bow that plate. Even just a gusset that runs the length of the plate would work. But I think making it look fuklly boxed to match your 1x1 bars would look clean. Also dont decide on the rear exhaust, until you get that bumper mounted, it might partially block the exhaust tips a bit.. On my rear bumper on my '52, I want to mod the brackets and suck it in to the body as close as I can. But overall I am really liking the build. Its really coming along fast.
Great points ! I definitely will look into adding some strength to the plates . I’m gonna take a look at it and think of the best clean option . Beefing it up won’t hurt that’s for sure . I’m gonna toss the bumper brackets on and see how low the bumper sits . I do like the original look of the bumper being off the truck a bit because I’m powder coating the brackets the copper colour so I think being able to see the colour will tie in with the rims . I’m hoping the exhaust will clear . Gonna check that next ! .. thank you for the feedback it’s greatly appreciated
I say come on side on frame and turn down next to back of the fender if you come out the fender will always have that exhaust stain
That is a great point ! I definitely do not want stain on the white paint . Thank you !
Hey thanks for the video of the ChoppinBlock chassis, Ive been looking at these for over a year and almost every video is of the chassis already built. I wanted to see how its packaged and assembled. Thanks for the walk through of the unboxing.
No problem 👍 I couldn’t find much either !
now you are looking good please kept the good work !! nice job.
@@markstephens190 thanks Mark !
Looks good, love the progress keeps me motivated working on a 49 a.d
@@bugsgoneexperts7540 awesome your 49 deserves to be worked on ! Advanced designs are the best trucks in the world 🙌🏻 keep at it
Love your videos but you're doing great job pretty expensive though
@@geraldshearing2531 absolutely . This was my dream truck since I was 13 and I’ve had it for a lot of years saving up to finally do it how I want it . Had to sell my Harley that was built by @martinjamesdesigns and myself .. sad day
Great episode!
Me too my friend. Wanted it for a long time! I’m tuned in for the next one!!
I’m doing a ‘52 but will be patina body and I plan on a nice clean and painted interior and engine compartment. Keep up the good work. Too bad your that far away I’d love to talk to you about a few things. I’m in Ont Canada
@@johnstathakos6811 fellow Canadian awesome 52 has the single window without the vent . And the first push button handles I love that model 👍🏻. I can try to help the best I can . Just learning day by day haha
Right on!! Looking great and appreciate the detail.
@@johnstathakos6811 thank you ! There isn’t a lot of videos on bed raises and bed tilt so I figured I’d get a little more in depth for those who haven’t found all the info they need . Although each chassis is different overall same concept will work 👍🏻
Great build. You have a new subscriber. Love the concept. Im near Pemberton
@@joesmith4494 great thanks for checking it out ! Pemberton is amazing great place to be in the sea to sky
Looks killer! is the Wilwood setup a universal one? have a link to what you used or part number. Thanks
@@dezertlost thanks ! I believe I mention it all on the 3rd or 4th . The front kit is 140-15302 this is the 12” slotted vented rotors with calipers and the complete bolt kit Rear kit it 140-2118-B and I got the tandem 1” bore master cylinder ! … hope this helps man
@@spesh1300 I did go back and found your steering and brakes video where you list the parts, thanks for responding
@@dezertlost oh good any other questions hit me up ! Thanks for watching

Very nice!!
That custom cover is so creative and the design is unique. I love it! The steering wheel is next level. The dad shoes your wearing are sick too 😂
@@martinjamesdesigns3748 😂 the steering wheel is a steering wheel but my New Balance 623’s are 🔥 haha 😆
Looking good Jhye great build.
Enjoying this build series. 👍
@@showspeedsoundtv7513 awesome ! Greatly appreciated
KEEP IT UP, just finish my floor on 49. mounted under dash, but went with s10 frame.
@@bugsgoneexperts7540 awesome ! I think I’ve seen every video on the internet on the s10 swap . It was one of my options for the build . Love these trucks 🙌🏻
💯 🫡
Looking good Jhye I admire how you just get in there and get er done, steering turned out nice.
@@brianhopkins6657 thanks ! It works so that’s a good sign haha
Have you looked into Hydroboost Hydraulic Power Brake Booster.
@@ericpetersen2681 I have ! The thing is I had already purchased all the wilwood stuff and was using it for mockup so by the time I was onto that it was too late . I have some good plans for the engine bay 👍🏻 I’m starting to feel confident that I can make the regular black booster look great with all the stainless lines perfectly plumbed in . Also I have other plans in the engine that will draw the eyes too more then the booster . Thanks for the suggestion ! I appreciate it .. always open to ideas and assistance
That steering set up is complex! Can’t wait to see how the engine bay turns out
Love the build I'm doing a 51 3100 also PB Frame . Who did your drawings and how did you get a hold of them ?
Thanks Mark . Awesome on the build 👍🏻 exact same truck mine just is the 1300 Canadian version( they changed model numbers from states to Canada . I had some people confused haha 👍🏻 I had a guy from the APP Fiverr do my drawings , I’ve been working with him for a bit he’s super understanding and easy to deal with and also not too expensive . You just have to have to have all your ideas sent to him with photo references . His name is @dhannyelfrata on the app Fiverr under custom concept drawings .
this is a sick build love the name to
Thank you ! Greatly appreciated
This truck is going to be next level! The push start is insanely creative. I love it!
Thank you ! .
Nice job on the video Jhye truck looks great.
Thanks you 👍🏻!
Great build series so far.
Thanks!
Looking dope bro!!!
This truck is coming along, cool build!
That wheel and tyre combo!!! Fantastic
Thank you ! I mean i was torn because i have 12” wilwood brakes behind a steel wheel you can’t see . But im hyped on the steel penny style rims . . Should all look good when complete
I’m in, really looking forward to this build. I’ve watched the videos you have put up so far and really like what you have planned and your ideas. So good.
Thank you ! Greatly appreciated . Hoping I can add some things that others haven’t done before and put my own touch on the truck . 👍🏻 a lot has been done before but they all look so good . Love the 47-53!
The ignition and push to start idea is absolutely amazing. Looking forward to seeing how that works out. I also predict you’re going to see this on a few other trucks soon, Genius idea sir!
Thank you ! Greatly appreciated . And I hope I see it elsewhere it’s a unique feature . Hoping the guys at LS fabrication can make a kit for these trucks to convert that .
Your idea for the push to start is genius! Get that one to work!
The push start idea is sick! Security would be the obvious concern as you mentioned. What if you cut your key and welded it to the knob, so that the actual key does in fact turn the power on?
Well I was gonna weld it to the inner sleeve so the key always is in the ignition behind the dash . I couldn’t weld it to the knob then I can’t take it out as the real key won’t fit through the hole . . The way I see it is I’m not gonna be leaving this trucks side ! Haha and it’ll be in my garage . Also even if someone wanted to steal it they would have a hell of a time trying to sort out how to even start it haha when it was original the three on the tree was a theft device no one can drive those things lol . But for extra securing I was gonna hide a kill switch in a location so you need to flip that on for anything to work regardless . Once the thieves got past that then it’s trying to sort out how to start it … I’m gonna roll with it And see how it goes ! Haha
nice
its a 3100.... not 1300
Hey man . It’s actually a 1300 . The 3100 is the American version . The 1300 is the Canadian version . Same exact truck just different model numbers
@spesh1300 well I learned something new today... never knew they changed the model number for Canadian made trucks!
Looking pretty killer Jhye great episode.
I will say CB chassis’s makes it pretty simple . I love how you get to assemble it not like the other chassis that come fully assembled
Where can I order this chassis, it's so nice and simple to work with.
@@elmuntasir1601 it’s called Choppin Block extreme chassis for a 1947-1954 Chevy 3100 pickup . You can go directly to there website or order it through another company called @switchsuspension
Dude so awesome! “It’s like an IKEA for vehicles 😂😎
This build is going to be next level! I can’t wait to see the unpacking of the frame!
