Amazing footballer, never followed him as a player but performing in that united team as he does is very impressive.👏🏼
Collapsing? It’s just a bad run of form which every club has suffered from. Liverpool went from 92 points in 21/22 to 67 points the following year and yet here they are top of the table. Football isn’t a story of a singular season and it definitely isn’t a story of just a single month. Just as city have had a drop off there’s no reason to suspect other teams like Liverpool won’t. Arsenal can attest to that after spending 80% of a season at the top only for them to drop off; some people call it bottling but it’s just how football is. You can’t win every match but no one has a better win record than pep and he could lose the next 50 games and still have a better win rate than most ‘top’ managers
Sporting Clube de Portugal*. There's no sporting Lisbon.
Oh really? Based on what I searched, media outlets also use Sporting Lisbon.
@@Box-to-BoxInvestigator Based on what I searched (being a fan of the club, looking into the club'ss site and platforms and looking at the club's symbol itself) it is Sporting Clube de Portugal. Only foreign uncultered simpletons call us Sporting Lisbon.
@@Box-to-BoxInvestigator See the club's platforms (and the club symbol). Those are better sources than foreign media outlets.
No need to sack Carlo No need to sign anymore midfielders just need a RB from castilla or buy one in the next transfer market Play a 4-3-3 Mbappe Vini rodrygo Bellingham camavinga valverde Garcia rudiger assensio Vasquez
Your analysis on teams is amazing! Thank you for making these videos, they've shown parts of the beautiful game I've never been able to see before
They dont need mbape , they need a new croos and a new modric
Yep they should've focused on getting a new Kroos or Modric given their heavy influence in the midfield areas.
Nice vid pls make longer, more detailed analysis takes. I'm sure ur channel will blow up
I love the concept of this channel. I keep going stats be damned!
Huge upgrade from Bissaka and DALOT. He is a good example of the phrase "a footballer with a footballing brain"

S the to sign him up for Liverpool signing definitely saying more Robert saying yes yes yes Liverpool flag in Scalf with the money money and plenty of money into the team Liverpool with this season ticket for group 50% and the money man can put money into the team😊😊
Good explanation
Every football manager probably envies Carlo right now imagine being spoilt for choice like that its like choosing between caviar and filet mignon lol
Real Madrid defense line is not convincing. Real Madrid need to strengthen the defense line.
I agree
no one plays 4 2 4 its stupid carlo will play 4 3 3 or 4 1 2 1 2 depends on a game

i m here after he scored 4 goals in one match
What a player 💎💎💎

All I can hear is that crazy background music wtf is that? Not a bad video though. Haaland has dipped in his 2nd season but if he was another striker he is still having a great season numbers wise.
‘Another Striker’. Haaland is suppose to be one of the best players on the planet. The expectations are much higher for him
@@adriandantedanosos4146 My point exactly friend, Haaland is coming off the back of a 52 goal season his first year at City. This season he has still scored 27 goals all comps. Top scorer in the league still If that was Jesus, Jackson, hojland (I'm a United fan btw) they would be having great seasons. Isak is on 22 goals all comps and he is having a great season. To sum up what I'm saying yes he has declined but from his personal standards but not from a regular striker pov.
not the hu tao music
He fell off 💀
loved the vid
haaland is a special player however playing under pep's system made him the so called "tap in merchant" as defenders close his angles which creates space for other players
Is this the same Diaz who Pep didnt think was good enough to play ?
I'm not sure if Pep revealed something along those lines, but from what I've heard, he gave Diaz the option to stay or leave.
Xabi 😂
Hi Box to Box, What do you think has changed tactically with Bruno under Erik compared to when Ole was manager as I felt under Ole we didn’t have a structure and the players seemed to have a lot of freedom on the pitch as whenever we went 1-0 down we would somehow win the game most of the time.
Looking back, Bruno under Ole had a lot of burden to carry since United during that tenure had gaping holes when it comes to their possession play. Pogba, Maguire, and De Gea can be vulnerable from the opposition's pressing schemes in the deeper areas, forcing Bruno to drop deep in order to address the problems in their buildup. Under Erik, the burden is slowly being addressed given Ten Hag's philosophy and personnel. Some players like Onana can launch long balls as an added weapon for United, and having players like Mainoo and Eriksen to support Bruno has really benefitted him.
@@Box-to-BoxInvestigator I understand what your saying however your comments seem to suggest that Bruno is doing better under Erik, however based on what I can see Bruno has not been performing well under Erik. He is always giving the ball away and is nowhere near the goal when he receives the ball . How is Kobbie helping Bruno as his performances aren’t getting better? Also could you do a tactical analysis video for the Chelsea vs Liverpool game next week talking about the tactics both teams used to win the game and how they can improve their tactics depending on who loses the game?
You actually nailed a really good point because it can be argued that Bruno's playstyle contradicts Ten Hag's approach. Bruno is renowned for his risky long passes, which is the opposite of Ten Hag's possession-oriented gameplan. Kobbie together with Garnacho would actually lessen the burden from Bruno in progressing the ball as they can offer some needed penetration. As for the Chelsea-Liverpool game, I'll see what I can do as I'll be on vacation during the week.
@@Box-to-BoxInvestigator Yes actually that is true. Do you think Ten Hag is just adapting his playstyle to traditional football as he has players like Bruno who cannot keep the ball? Also what are your thoughts on Chelsea from a tactical perspective on and off the ball? As a lot of people are talking about Enzo not being close to Caicedo in the build up phases. Also I’m not sure if you would agree with this but I felt when Poch was at Tottenham his team wasn’t very good at breaking teams down and what made Tottenham so good was their off the ball work and when their pressing structure wasn’t working they had nothing to fall back on as a lot of the time I felt someone like Erikson would produce magic to get Tottenham over the line when they couldn’t break teams down would you agree?
In my opinion, Ten Hag is adapting to the playstyle of United's current personnel. As for Chelsea, their current setup has promise but they need some reinforcements that could address some problems in their buildup. Enzo for example is a really good passer from distance and he even manages to play well upfront, to the point where Poch encourages him to move further upfield. Having another CM who can play like him from behind will definitely help Enzo and Chelsea reach a different level. For Poch and Tottenham, you raise a good point since Poch's Spurs have always been renowned for their high pressing schemes which has worked its wonders in generating goal scoring opportunities, however there were games which does showcase Spurs breaking down the opposition all thanks to Dele Alli and the fullbacks. There were games which felt like Eriksen would have to carry the burden, because Poch encourages Eriksen to be very fluid and active with his movements, given his well-rounded offensive game.
Hi, Box to Box what’s your current thoughts on how Ten Hag coaches man united in possession, out of possession, their phases of play, the build up play and their block out of possession?
This is still under investigation, but based on my observations, United has vastly improved from the beginning of this season. During the first half of the season, Ten Hag tried to integrate his possession-oriented philosophy to his team but the pieces didn't really work well for him. Eventually he found the midas touch all thanks to the emergence of Mainoo and Garnacho on the right. Mainoo is such an asset for Ten Hag given his contributions in United's buildup, while Garnacho has been very productive and more clinical recently.
@@Box-to-BoxInvestigator When you said he tried to play his possession game earlier in the season, he said a few months ago that he cannot play the way he played at Ajax and he wants to play transition football why do you think he can’t play the way he played at Ajax? And Do you think Ten Hag allows his players to be the problem solvers in possession instead of creating a set structure or plan for example Dalot inverts depending on the game state and situation? As I don’t think Man united are coached very well in possession however the off the ball structure doesn’t seem to be bad. How is Mainoo helping United in the build up phases based on what you’ve seen?
@@lw_2 Ajax was filled with a lot of youthful exuberance and it likewise helped that Ten Hag had players who are committed to move from all cylinders, which is why his possession-oriented gameplan flourished. In United, Ten Hag is given players who are more rigged and static. Maguire is definitely not the player who fits Ten Hag's system as he can be exposed by a high press. In some matches, Casemiro's lack of mobility can be highlighted especially when he brings the ball forward. This is why Mainoo is such an asset for Ten Hag. He is very energetic in supporting the buildup as he can be seen dropping deep and moving around the pitch. In addition, he is very nimble when bringing the ball forward, which makes him a solid combo alongside Christian Eriksen who would serve as United's playmaker from the deeper areas. There are also some concerns I noticed upfront, specifically on Marcus Rashford as his decision making isn't really the best, given his carelessness in moving the ball. As for your question on problem solving, I'm not sure how to answer this question, but perhaps it's a mix of both. Dalot's movements do remind me a bit of Ten Hag's philosophy, and the same can be said with Mainoo and Garnacho. However there are players who are given more freedom to decide on their own e.g. Rashford and Bruno Fernandes.
@@Box-to-BoxInvestigator Regarding problem solving do you think Ten Hag let’s the team be the problem solvers because he doesn’t have a talented team that can create a wider and more effective variety of actions? When you say Casemiro lack of mobility do you mean his ability to not take up positions to receive the ball from his defenders and play out of the oppositions press and to defend counter attacks? Also I think Eriksen is good on the ball but when teams counter attack I think his a liability would you agree with that so I’m unsure who should partner Mainoo in midfield. Regarding Rashford I think he allows the opposition to play through us easily as he doesn’t track back or press out of possession. So pretty much your saying Ten Hag has adapted to what he has as he thinks some of the players aren’t good enough to play the Ajax way? Regarding Bruno Fenandes why do you think he has been poor since Ten Hag has been manager as if you take the goals and assists out of his game his general play has not been good under Ten Hag compared to when Ole was manager he was very good and he was even making runs into the box to score goals . What do you think has changed tactically with Bruno under Erik compared to when Ole was manager as I felt under Ole we didn’t have a structure and the players seemed to have a lot of freedom on the pitch as whenever we went 1-0 down we would somehow win the game most of the time. Do you think Ole played relational football when he was the manager and this benefitted a player like Bruno which makes you think Bruno was just benefiting from the system as his performances aren’t good anymore as I believe players have more freedom when playing relational football?
Jorginho was so good even tho he dosent usually get played
Jorginho shouldn’t play that much considering his age - he should be a closer or for the bigger games. Keeps him fresh and out of injuries
