This procedure must had been done in a different country because this looks barbaric even way painful to watch 😵‍💫 im getting mine done but looking at this video it looks like she must be under local anesthesia there’s no way she’s not feeling any pain and not moving.

When I got my done today . It was the worst experience ever. I was in pain the scale of 💯%. I had cramps that I never felt before I was in tears and sweating . No medicine what so ever during the procedure. Endometrial Biopsy .. Than after words they give you medicine to ease the pain. Back in 2016 I had the tubal ligation sterilization permanently not reversible , general anesthesia. I’m not able to have kids and never will. On Jan. 30,2020 . My procedure was The Genesys HTA System is a hysteroscopic thermal ablation to stop my period permanently for the rest of my life. These two procedures were awesome , the best recommendation from my doctors for me. Remember to always use the safe method with your partner contraceptions. Make sure you both have annual check up. Be healthy, be safe and clean. I proud to be clean healthy and safe.

I just had an endometrial biopsy (EMB) and for me, it was not that bad. I had this done at the Cleveland Clinic and my doctor was wonderful. She prescribed Cytotec (Misoprostol), which softens the cervix, to take orally the night before and morning of and I experienced no side effects. I also took 600 mg of ibuprofen with the evening dose of Cytotec in case it caused cramping. One hour before the biopsy, I took another 600 mg of ibuprofen and also a pill to relieve anxiety. Before the doctor started, I explained my fears about the pain and she assured me that most patients do not experience significant pain and that the procedure is so quick, it was not worth using local anesthesia. I asked her to walk me through the procedure as she was doing it so I would know what was going on and how long each part would last (I can handle scary situations better this way). From the moment I laid back on the table, the entire procedure lasted about 8 minutes. She first inserted the speculum, which was uncomfortable, but not painful (10 seconds). She then cleaned my cervix with Betadine which felt weird, but not painful (1 minute). She then inserted a thin tube through my cervix and I felt a mild pinch and tolerable cramping, but nothing that I would describe as painful (5 seconds). She then inserted another thin instrument into my uterus and it felt like she was scraping on one side...this part felt like menstrual cramps. I wouldn't describe it as very painful, just uncomfortable and it might have burned a bit (that lasted about 20 seconds). As she was taking this biopsy, it was uncomfortable, but she told me that it would only last 20 seconds and I felt like I could easily handle it. She then carefully removed it and told me to rest for a minute while she retrieved the second instrument. She inserted the second one and I felt the same sensation, but on the other side (20 seconds). Then she said it was over. She carefully removed the instruments and told me to rest on the table for a couple minutes. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the pain about a 2 or 3. There was some bleeding afterwards which will require a pad. I am sharing my experience because I read many other accounts on the internet from people who suffered and it made me really terrified. I just wanted to put my personal experience out there so others can see that for some (possibly most according to my doctor and her staff?), it's not that bad. I hope this helps others out there who are preparing for this procedure.
